Andalusian World Cup
Dear Exhibitors, Owners and Spectators,
September 24-26, 2015
We would like to welcome you to the second annual Andalusian World Cup, where the best
horses in the world come to compete!
It was our vision to create a show that welcomed all Iberian horses and disciplines without
prejudice or politics. A show that was fun and exciting for exhibitors, owners, spectators
and sponsors. An unforgettable experience offered unparalleled competition, prizes, and
prize money. If our inaugural show was any indication, we believe we have set the bar for a
new type of horse show.
This year’s schedule offers an array of classes, including an ANCCE sanctioned
competition, classes just for Lusitanos (PSL), American style halter and performance
classes, Working Equitation: Sponsored by Haras Dos Cavaleiros (open to all breeds) and
a one-day USDF/USEF dressage show, including DSHB In Hand Classes.
Supreme Championship Sweepstakes classes are a new addition; winners of these
classes will not only walk away with bragging rights, but also cash awards, Supreme
Championship coolers, trophies and take home rose blankets to commemorate the event.
Please take this opportunity to consider trying something new this year! Maybe enter
a rail or halter class if you are a dressage rider, attempt a dressage test if you show in
performance classes. This show is all about bringing everyone together and appreciating
all the things our horses can do!
If you have questions regarding any of the classes offered, rules or information about the
venue, please either refer to our website or contact us.

Dinner & Social Hour
Sponsored by Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse
On Saturday Evening, we would like to invite you to join us for a dinner and social hour, located on the Main
Arena Concourse. A great opportunity to meet up with old friends and make new ones. Semi – formal attire is
encouraged and we will also be having a derby hat competition on this evening. For those of you not familiar
with the FPSH Rescue, read on:
The Foundation is about the Horse and only the Horse.
Nowhere is this more evident than in the Rescue Program. Since its inception eight years ago, it has very quietly
and without any promotion helped Pure Spanish Horses (P.R.E. Horses) in need. These gallant and worthwhile
actions have been undertaken by only those directly involved in the process, without any sort of recognition for
their good deeds. It is sometimes a very costly process to rescue a horse in need and find a loving home
to take care of it for the rest of its life, but one which The Foundation is completely
dedicated to preserve. The P.R.E. Horse community in our
country is very small and because there are such negative
connotations to the word rescue, The Foundation has chosen
to provide this service on a confidential basis. There is no
blame, no condemnation, and no disgrace ever assigned to
anyone who asks for assistance with their horse or horses.
There is only help. Many times the word rescue does not
really apply. The Foundation receives some horses who are
quite healthy, in good flesh, and just need a place to live in
retirement or simply need to serve us in a different way.
This process is more of a placement service for people who
love this breed and want the best for their horses.
our breed. It is because of this that we are the first thing people think of when they need assistance with their
horses. We are proud of this and pledge to continue serving the needs of our wonderful horse. You would be
amazed at how many horses The Foundation has helped in its years of history.
Please join us in celebrating and supporting this wonderful cause by purchasing tickets for the charity dinner
and Live Auction.

Our mission focuses on using a network of fosters, volunteers and
sponsors to rescue horses seized by or surrendered to the Animal
Control agencies of Clark County, Nevada. L.E.A.N. has been the last
hope for many horses and donkeys with no place left to go.
195.Fantasy Costume Open (Pure and Partbred)
L.E.A.N. is unlike other rescue programs in that we do not have a physical ranch or sanctuary.
All the horses are placed into private foster homes and cared for by the members of that house or
barn. L.E.A.N covers the cost of feed, medical, farrier and other needs while the animal recovers
under the loving care of its foster home.
Presentation of Special Awards
196.Western Pleasure Supreme Championship Sweepstakes (Purebred/Partbred)
Horses shown in Western Pleasure are invited to compete, regardless of placings.
When the horse is ready, a careful saddle assessment is conducted to find out as much as we can
about the horse, its likes and fears, and what it knows under saddle. Then we take our time to
match the right applicant to the horse, ensuring everyone is happy. Our goal is a forever home,
not just any barn. The application/approval process takes time – adoption is a process, not a
purchase.

USDF/USEF
USDF Statement on Animal Welfare
The United States Dressage Federation, Inc. (USDF), a federation of 125 independent organizations throughout the United States with a membership in excess of 30,000 members, supports
the concept of ethical treatment of animals.
Dressage is a classical method of training horses, based upon the horse’s natural responses, as
carried out in a gradual, planned program during which the horse’s athletic abilities are improved in a systematic manner. As a result, the horse becomes capable, comfortable, and responsive in partnership with the rider without the use of force. Dressage competition at various
levels of achievement is the ultimate test of the training program to determine whether the
desired harmony between horse and rider has been achieved.
The rules pertaining to dressage competition prohibit the use of artificial appliances, training
aids, and drugs, which would force the horse to submit. Instead, the emphasis is upon training
and a cooperative partnership with the rider. Major competitions are carefully monitored to
assure that there is no unnecessary force or harshness displayed.
Unlike other horse sports in which horses enter training at a relatively immature state, dressage
training is usually not seriously begun until the horse is three or four. The top levels of achievement require five or more years of progressive training and it is not unusual to see horses in
international competition in their late teens. This, in itself, places a premium on good care and
soundness throughout the horse’s life.
While supporting the concept of animal welfare in its broadest form, the United States Dressage
Federation, Inc., also recognizes that it is unrealistic to ascribe human emotions and responses
to the horse which in its wild state is a creature of flight, living a hard and precarious existence.
Under domestication, the horse is assured of ample food, water, and shelter, as well as protection against infectious diseases and damaging parasites, thus leading a longer and healthier life
with a high rate of survival.
As an educational organization, USDF has numerous programs, which teach people how to pursue the accepted, humane training methods. A program of certifying instructors also emphasizes protecting the horse’s welfare in pursuit of dressage training.

BEFORE SIGNING AS YOU ARE WAIVING SIGNIFICANT LEGAL RIGHTS
WHEREAS, I understand and acknowledge that activities involving horses (“Equine Activities”), including but not
limited to the mounting, riding, walking, dismounting, grooming, training, handling, feeding, and otherwise being in
the physical proximity of horses is a dangerous activity which produces a foreseeable risk of mortal or serious personal
injury and/or property loss to the participant in such activity as well as to the person or property of others; and WHEREAS, I understand and recognize and warrant that this Release, Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement (“Release”)
is being voluntarily and intentionally signed and agreed to, and that in signing this Release I know and understand that
this Release may further limit the liability of equine professionals to include any activity, whatsoever, involving horses,
including death, personal injury and/or damage to property. WHEREAS, I recognize and agree that the equine professional(s) at AndalusianWorld LLC(AW) has/have made reasonable and prudent efforts to determine my ability to engage
in the “Equine Activity”, and has/have sufficient knowledge of my equine and horseback riding skills as for me to relieve,
release and hold harmless said equine professional(s) from any continuing duty to monitor my Equine Activities.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of being granted access and/or use of the facilities Leased by AndalusianWorld LLC
(“AW”) and for other good and valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I agree as follows:
1. Assumption of the Risk. I hereby assume full responsibility for, and risk of, any death or bodily injury to myself or
others (including, but not limited to, those matters set forth in the above recitals) and damage to or destruction of my
property or the property of others, caused by my engaging in any Equine Activity either on the premises of AW or, unless

includes, but is not limited to, payment of (i) medical costs for myself and others that I may have injured, (ii) costs to replace my own property or the property of others that I may have lost, destroyed, or damaged, and (iii) damages for other
non-medical and non-property items such as pain and suffering and lost wages, etc.
2. Release, Waiver of Liability, and Discharge of Claims.
(a) I hereby release, waive, and discharge any and all claims that I may now or in the future have for damages against AW,
including its owners, occupants, tenants, subtenants, licensees, employees, officers, directors, or agents and the respective

(b) I acknowledge that AW requires me to wear USET approved headgear with a chin strap while jumping and requires
me to wear a safety helmet while riding. I understand and acknowledge that the risk of head injuries and death are
significantly reduced by wearing appropriate headgear. I hereby release, waive, and discharge AW, including its owners,
occupants, tenants, subtenants, licensees, employees, officers, directors, or agents and the respective affiliated entities or
persons of any one or more of them, against any and all claims that I may now or in the future have for damages resulting
from my failure to wear headgear while riding either on AW’s premises or at an off site facility.
(c) This release is intended to release, waive and discharge, in advance, AW, together with its owners, occupants, tenants,
subtenants, employees, officers, directors and their respective affiliates or persons of any one or more of them, from and
against any liability arising out of or connected in any way with my or my guests or invitees engaging in any Equine
Activities on the AW premises or in any activity in which an AW representative is required to attend on my behalf, and/
or my or my guests or invitees presence on the AW premises, even though such liability may be attributable, in full or in
part, to the negligence, recklessness or misconduct of one or more of such persons or entities.
(d) Medical Authority. I, (participant, or if minor, parents/guardians) hereby grant permission and authority to AW, its
officers and authorized employees to act for me in executing verbal instructions or if unable to contact us, to act for us in
dealing with physicians, available ambulance companies and hospitals, to obtain prompt medical attention for the person
