JOIN THE VERMONT YOUTH CONSERVATION CORPS
Even if you’ve never held a hammer or stuck your hands
in the mud before, you’ll get to complete projects such as:
• Building and improving trails
• Constructing wood bridges and stone staircases
• Repairing riverbanks and reducing erosion
• Improving wildlife habitat

Live at home while working on outdoor projects in your community for the summer! Youth (ages 16-18) can apply for
4- or 8-week opportunities beginning in June and July in Barre, Brattleboro, South Burlington, St. Albans, and
Woodstock. Compensation is $384 per 40 hour week. Hours are 7-5, M-F. Must have reliable transportation to and from
a designated meeting location Monday through Friday, and members are required to provide their own housing.
