Our fibre bonding techniques go from the classic latex coating to the more advanced techniques of thermal activation of bicomponent fibres, film lamination, hot melt and powder scattering; 6 depending on the desired properties of the final product the appropriate technique is chosen. Our warehouses have a surface area of over 20,000 m² where trucks can be loaded from the rear (4 truck loading platforms are available) and from the side. Moreover we are equipped to transport our rolls both in a vertical and horizontal way. Our lab is well equipped to test both incoming and finished goods on various physical (strength, shrinkage, water absorption and repellency) and chemical properties (colour fastness, etc. ) ; testing of specific flame retardancy, hydrophobic, anti-static, O90 … properties are tested in accredited partner laboratories. Our polypropylene related business is vertically integrated which offers control at every stage of the production process, from raw material to finished non-woven: moreover all our operations are compliant with both the ISO9001 and ISO14001 management systems, as well as all legal obligations. NO-NONSENSE / Hands-on, task oriented , simple. What makes Captiqs® products unique? Are Captiqs® products made by one of a kind technologies? RESPECT AND REWARD / Respect for the environment and the individual. A pat on the shoulder, an encouraging word, constructive feedback Are Captiqs® products made of special raw materials? It’s far less sophisticated than that: it is the team behind the Captiqs® brand that makes the Captiqs® products unique. The Captiqs® products are created by about 100 proud ambassadors - representing 1500+ years of textile experience - with 110% (*) motivation and the following 6 core values. * 110% can be achieved if the human energy is daily renewed 8 and boosted whenever possible whatever it takes. INTEGRITY / No politics, openness, no nepotism ALWAYS AIM HIGHER / Best in class, ambitious, trying harder every day. Difficulties are seen as an opportunity to improve LEADING BY EXAMPLE / Managers do more, “changes start with me” KEEPING OUR PROMISES / A commitment is a commitment. We say what we do and do what we say. 9 SUSTAINABILITY As we are convinced that a product that is less harmful creates more value for our customers, the Captiqs® brand focuses on reducing the environmental impact of both its processes and products. We realize that the sustainability journey has only begun, however we are proud of the results that we have already accomplished. NON-WOVEN PROCESSES Energy / Renewable energy / In Balta Oudenaarde we have an annual production of 410 MWh solar energy per year, representing about 8% of our energy consumption. Audit convenant / Balta Oudenaarde participates since 2007 at the audit convenant, a screening system for energy consumption; the implementations of the recommendations resulted in a decrease of energy consumption of 4% in the period between 2007 and 2014. Air emissions / Our latex line stentor is the only source of air emissions; as a result most of the air emissions consist of water vapour. Water intake / The latex process is the only process that uses fresh water; to limit its water intake we use the cleaning water of the latex process to make new latex foam. Water emissions / Only 10% of our process wastewater ends up in a water treatment plant, since 90% of our wastewater is used to make new latex foam. Solid waste / 10 Postindustrial Latex-free waste / 100% recycled (15% internal and 85% external material recycling). Postindustrial latex-bonded waste / 100% external recycling (conversion into energy). Packaging waste / 100% material recycling. PRODUCTS % recycled content / Our products have on average 30% post industrial waste content. All our raw materials & process aids / 100% reach compliant. CLOSED LOOP PROGRAMS We are proud to announce that in 2015 the first closed loop programs will be launched with post industrial waste of 2 partner customers. 11 OUR BRANDS • Wheel arch liners • Undershields • Luggage compartment From molded structural parts to interior liners and carpets with various structures and backings, Captiqs® proves itself as a reliable partner for automotive non-woven solutions. • Passenger compartment • Technical liners 12 13 14 15 • Pile material: polypropylene • Color range: 31 colours • Standard width: 200 cm • Diameter: up to 120 cm Our event carpet ranges XPO FLAT and XPO MAT (rib structure) is the perfect temporary floorcovering for your exhibitions, sporting events, trade shows, etc. Since 2004 we offer good value for money at a service level of over 95%; In 2015 we will extend our sales team and update our color range. 17 16 Our banner range of polyester non-wovens is perfectly suited for your marketing campaigns, sporting events and trade shows, both outdoor or indoor (flame retardant M1 range available) . SOUND INSULATION Our non-woven products have been engineered to reduce impact noise from walking, the dragging of chairs or the dropping object. Our felt isolates hard surface floors from the subfloor and is designed for: Corporate offices, Education, Hotel/resort residential (dry or wet rooms). Our wall backing non-woven range are engineered to be laminated with paper wall cover by powder or hotmelt coating. They are used for covering bands & cracks in wall and ceiling. These products also comprise very high acoustic performance: ∆Lw 18 dB to 20 dB* (final result dependent on glue ). High performing but also easy to handle & very light weight (whilst provided in rolls or tiles), our products do not significantly increase the floor level. With non-woven backing felt the end product offers a lot of advantages: • Breathable • Cover deep cracks • Sound reduction (absorption is function of weight) • Avoids cold walls, reduces condensation These products are polyester 100% so suitable for allergy-sufferers. • Materials: polyester, hydrophobic polyester • Weight: from 100g/m² up to 500g/m² • Construction: needle punched, calendered • Thickness: from 0.5mm to up to 20 mm 19 20 21 • For filtration of banks • Filtration of permeable soils with high water flows, • Wastewater filtration in plugging environments • Antibacterial filter • Filter with UV Resistance Geotextile needlepunched polyester or polypropylene.
