The Foundation for Economic Education has been established in 1991 roku. It was initiated by prof. Leszek Balcerowicz, the main architect of Polish transformation Foundation is a not-for-profit training entity and works in the fields of economic education, promotion of ITC in public administration, education and SMEs. It works as a professional consultancy and promotes networking, European integration is a high priority. The Interkl@sa Programme is a country wide co-operation network of thousands of schools, teachers, pupils, educational NGO’s working together to bring Polish education closer to the European Union standards. Since 1998 Interkl@sa has helped to equip schools with computers and Internet access,organized teachers’ training programs and promoted the use of ICT in the field of education.
