Nestled amidst the vineyards and glorious unspoilt
countryside of the Dordogne, South West France, you
will discover the 16th Century Château des Vigiers, a
tranquil, enchanting and unique venue for your next
board meeting, seminar or incentive trip.
We are conveniently located and about an hour east of
Bordeaux and 20 minutes west of Bergerac, very close
to the village of Saint-Emilion, a world heritage site.

COOKERY CLASSES
Few venues bring together such rich history and
culture, outstanding gastronomy and a long tradition
in viticulture to create an authentic and enthralling
experience. Add to this the fact that we are situated
in the middle of what is unarguably the most famous
wine growing region in the world and you begin to
see that this combination makes for a stay that inspires
productivity as well as pleasure.
Accommodation
Château des Vigiers offers three unique accommodation options in the
Château, the “Dépendances” and the “Relais”.
CHATEAU
Dating back to 1597, the historic Château was once the country residence
of a Royal Judge. It uses period furniture in its 25 individually decorated
bedrooms and has a number of splendid reception rooms, ideal for
breakout meetings. The Château itself looks out over a lake and parkland
golf course as well as the surrounding vineyards. Ideal for clients looking
for an exclusive venue for smaller board meetings.
Built using traditional stone, The Dependances are located only a few
yards from the Château and offer 22 additional rooms and suites.
DEPENDANCES
Inspired by the ancient tobacco drying barns, the Relais is situated
about 200 metres from the Château and offers a more contemporary
experience. Built to “eco-friendly” standards using locally sourced
materials and solar energy, the Relais houses 40 very spacious bedrooms
and it’s own breakfast room, bar, swimming pool, sauna and fitness room
as well as the Relais Conference Centre. Ideal for larger conferences - we
can easily cater for 80 24hr delegates and often privatise the entire
building (bedrooms and all other facilities) for our clients’ exclusive use
Combining all three buildings yields a total of 87 rooms and suites
accommodating up to 150 delegates.

can suggest menus which celebrate our region’s famous produce.
brasserie le chai
Our executive chef will prepare sumptuous dishes for your delegates
and clients with the same passion and expertise that private guests
enjoy. Using only the region’ s freshest seasonal produce, your clients
will enjoy unique dishes based around local delicacies such as black
Truffle.
The “Salon Champagne” with its stone-vaulted ceiling dates back to
the 12th century. Here you can savour the very best of our regional
produce in a beautiful environment and enjoy some special moments
with your guests around a wonderful ‘Royale’ table - ideal for a
banquet of 15 to 25 guests.
The Salon Chai is situated in our old wine-making building. A warm
atmosphere with a beautiful oak timber ceiling, perfect for you to
welcome 40 to 140 guests at round tables seating 8 to 10 people.
Weather permitting, you can opt to sit outside on one of our terraces
and enjoy wonderful views over the parkland, lake and Château.

Social Responsibility
We always strive to support positive initiatives in our local
community and take our environmental responsiblility very
seriously. Some of these intiatives include:
 Supporting the restoration of our local Church. We raise
funds for the church of Razac de Saussignac through the sale
of a special wine we make every year. Half the proceeds are
donated to the church.
 We regularly invite local schools to the golf academy where
children are encouraged to play golf. We are proud sponsors
of our local rugby club too!
 In our restoration of the Château, great attention is paid to the
manner in which we implement the restoration work and we
use only traditional materials and methods, in line with and
true to the period.
 The Relais was built using locally sourced materials and to eco
friendly standards, harnessing solar energy. and where possible
we have used recycled materials.
 We regularly host art exhibitions and concerts for local artists
to showcase their work.
