$3,400 in cash and prizes!
FREE Bus Transportation
Elections for Board of Directors
And More!
I’m thrilled to report that 2008
was one of the most successful
years in Community First history!
On February 29 we hit the one
billion dollars in assets mark and
Catherine J. Tierney
finished the year with more than
$1.169 billion, up 23.4% from 2007, and with more
than $100 million in reserves, your credit union is
stronger than ever.
What makes this remarkable, is that it happened at a
time when many banks and financial services firms
faltered or failed and had to be rescued. The key to our
success throughout our 34 year history is you. As a
member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative,
our only focus is you, and your financial well-being.
As a member-owner, we hope that you will use the
credit union for all your financial needs. Because
members continue to save and invest with us, we have
plenty of money to lend. If you want to buy a home,
refinance your mortgage, consolidate debt, purchase
a vehicle, fund your business or your child’s college
education - you can always count on CFCU!
There is every indication that 2009 will be a
challenging time for our country, but we are excited
about the future. We would be honored if you would
spread the word about the benefits of being a memberowner of Community First to your friends, families and
business associates. This is your financial institution
and the profits come back to you – always have, and
always will. That’s a promise.
Please email me at [email protected]
with your suggestions, comments or concerns. Best
wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!
