Holiday-Scented Body Butter
Ingredients:
1½ Tbsp. Cocoa Butter
1½ Tbsp. Beeswax Pellets
2 Tbsp. Coconut Oil
2 Tbsp. Almond Oil
¼ tsp. Vegetable Glycerin
4 drops of Vitamin E Oil
20 drops of peppermint essential oil
12 drops of cinnamon essential oil
4 oz. or 1 oz. Salve Container(s)

Create a double boiler, and melt the Cocoa Butter, Beeswax, and Coconut Oil
over medium heat.
Then, add the Almond Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, and Vitamin E, and stir.
Remove mixture from the heat, pour into a mixing bowl, and then quickly
add the essential oils.
Place the bowl in the refrigerator for thirty minutes to one hour. Remove from the
refrigerator, and beat the mixture in a stand mixer or by hand. Repeat the refrigerate/
beat process until you achieve the consistency you want.
Spoon into salve containers (this recipe will fill a 4 oz. salve container, or you can
divide it into smaller jars for gifts).

Essential Oil–Scented Finger Paints
Instructions:
In a medium-size pot, whisk together cold water, cornstarch, and salt. Heat over
medium heat, stirring often, until mixture thickens.
Remove from heat, and let cool.
Pour the mixture into plastic bottles, and add a different color of food coloring to
each bottle, stirring in with a bamboo skewer, until you achieve your
desired color.
Add a drop of essential oil to each bottle of paint, and stir in the
essential oil with the bamboo skewer. Be sure to choose essential
oils that are safe for children. It’s fun to choose oil scents that go
along with each color, and this also makes for a fun sensory experience. For example, mix a drop of Douglas fir essential oil in with the
green paint and a drop of peppermint in the red. Twist the lids onto
your bottles, and your paint is ready to enjoy!

1 Tbsp. Beeswax Pellets (pg. 1)
3 Tbsp. Jojoba Oil (pg. 11)
3–4 drops Vitamin E Oil (optional; pg. 1)

Pack Beeswax Pellets into a tablespoon-size measuring spoon until it is packed level
with the top; then dump the beeswax into a heat-proof glass measuring cup.
Add 3 tablespoons of Jojoba Oil to the Beeswax.
Place the measuring cup in a large saucepan that is filled with 1” of hot water.
Place the saucepan and measuring cup on the stove, and turn the burner on low.
Stir the mixture in the measuring cup with a bamboo skewer every couple of minutes
until the Beeswax is completely melted (about 15–20 minutes).
Turn off the stove, and carefully remove the measuring cup from the pan. Place the
measuring cup on a towel on a countertop or table.
Stir in 3–4 drops liquid vitamin E.
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, and then stir in 90–120 drops of your desired
essential oil or blend. Note: You may find it easier to pre-measure the essential oil in
another container and add it all at once.
Quickly pour the mixture into Clear Plastic Sample Jars. For an extra special gift,
you could pour it into a Diffusing Locket. This recipe will fill three or four lockets,
depending on size.
Allow mixture to cool for several hours before wearing the locket or using the solid
perfume. To use, take a small amount of the solid perfume with your finger, and place
it on the wrists, the neck, or any other location on the skin that is desired.

CITRUS-SCENTED WAX MELTS
INGREDIENTS:
2 oz. Beeswax Pellets
2 Tbsp. Coconut Oil
10 drops orange essential oil
5 drops tangerine essential oil
5 drops bergamot essential oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Melt together the Coconut Oil and Beeswax in a double
boiler on the stove, stirring frequently. Once completely
liquid, remove from heat.
2. Stir in the essential oil using a bamboo skewer.
3. Pour mixture into molds, and then set aside to cool.
4. Once cooled and solidified, you can remove the wax melts
from the molds and use them in your candle warmer.
5. Enjoy the refreshing, citrusy scent!
