HORMEEL2 4/1/08 3:01 pm Page 1 Hormeel S ® Effective Treatment with Hormeel®S Hormonal disfunctions are among the most frequent health problems of women in their child-bearing and menopausal years. Because of possible undesirable side effects, hormone substitution is not always the optimum solution.1) Recently many women have begun to refuse hormone treatment and to look for safer yet effective alternatives. The efficacy of Hormeel S drops has been confirmed by a multicentre prospective cohort study of 345 women suffering from premenstrual syndrome, menopausal symptoms, or other disorders of the female cycle. Very good to good results were achieved in more than 80% of women treated. One-third of the women saw improvement of their symptoms within two weeks and an additional 30% improved after two to four weeks of treatment. Patient tolerance of Hormeel S was rated excellent or good in 98% of cases. 2) Hormeel S may be used to treat: 50 Menstrual disorders % of patients 40 Menopausal symptoms 30 20 10 Dysmenorrhea For acute symptoms: 5-10 drops hourly For ongoing treatment: 10 drops 3-4 times a day and: 1 ampoule initially once a day, later 1-3 times weekly Hormeel® S Drops (9774) • Injection solution (8551) 60 Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) Dosage Recommendations 0 Total Premenstrual syndrome Menopausal symptoms Other Composition: Drops: 100 g cont.: Senecio nemorensis ssp. fuchsii D6, Acidum nitricum D4, Erigeron canadensis D3, Moschus moschiferus D6, Viburnum opulus D3, Pulsatilla pratensis D4, Sepia officinalis D6, Cyclamen europaeum D4, Ignatia D6, Thlaspi bursa pastoris D3 5 g each; Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni D8, Aquilegia D4, Cypripedium calceolus var. pubescens D8, Origanum majorana D4, Nux moschata D6 10 g each.
