World’s Poor Collection – March 29-30
This weekend we are asked to give to a special collection for programs
and services that reach out to help the poor all over the world. This
appeal puts together the work of three major poverty relief services:
Catholic Relief Services Collection — serving our suffering
brothers/sisters around the world through humanitarian aid, resettling &
advocacy.
Catholic Campaign for Human Development- helps individuals to
help themselves through grants that improve education, improve
housing in low-income areas & support economic development. 25% of
this collection remains in our diocese to support local anti-poverty
efforts.
Peter’s Pence — Unites us in solidarity with Pope Francis and his
works of charity to those in need.
In the World’s Poor collection you have a choice to contribute to any
one or all of the above three funds, by designating an amount for each.
Please indicate your wish on the envelope. Your gift will help give hope

The Lent 40 Days for Life (24/7) Campaign started March 5 thru April
13, on the sidewalk near the Planned Parenthood Clinic on Oneida St.
Our presence is so very important. Planned Parenthood in Marquette,
MI is beginning to offer RU-486 chemical abortions…and if approved
for Green Bay, they will be next. Let’s join together in prayer and
fasting in order to build a culture of life! Corpus Christi, St. Joe’s &
Maplewood are set for the remaining Sunday afternoon April 6 from
12:00-2:00 to walk and pray in Green Bay. Even if you can only be
there for ½ hour, I encourage you to be that quiet voice for the unborn –
or at least please pray & fast at home to end abortion, the ultimate child
abuse. For car pooling or more information call Dianne at 743-2260 or
log on to [email protected]

Concert of Charisms: The Depth and Beauty of the Catholic
Church
Join Frater Matthew Dougherty, O. Praem., as he reflects upon the
importance of rediscovering the beauty and depth of the Catholic
Church through a study of charisms in the 21st century. By embracing
the diversity of charisms we can turn “beige Catholicism” into a Church
of living colors. It takes a concert of charisms, not uniformity, to preach
Christ to a world thirsting for beauty.
