Quinn Mann at St. Joseph Formation Center on Kangaroo Lake on the weekend of June 21 & 22. Non-perishable food (pasta, spaghetti sauce, rice, canned food, cereal, mixes, etc), and paper products are examples of what is needed. This will be delivered to them that week. All the Catholic parishes of Door County are cooperating in this drive for our young people. Impacting the Lives of Children Did you know that within our diocese, 10,000 children participate in Catholic Schools and nearly 20,000 in Religious Education classes? Or that over 500 attended Camp Tekakwitha last summer? Sharing the Light of Christ with our young people is imperative to the future of our Church. Through the many education programs of our diocese, we are able to light a fire in the hearts of our children so they might know and love Jesus. “Please know that your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal allows our students in Catholic schools to become disciples of Christ, and ultimately to become good citizens in our communities,” says John Reetz, Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Green Bay. Your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal makes a difference in the Catholic education of children across our 16-county diocese. To make a gift today contact your parish, visit the Bishop’s Appeal website at www.catholicfoundationgb.org/give, or call Debbie toll-free at 877-5003580, ext. 8184. 2014 BISHOP’S APPEAL Net Goal for our parish $29,870.00 Pledges to Date $27,552.00 Number of Gifts 185 The Carpet Shop carpet, wood, laminate, tile, vinyl & blinds Roger Miller, Owner 5455 County I Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235 [email protected] 920-743-7188 furnishings & accessories for cabin & beachside interiors 20, 22 & 24 Madison Ave Sturgeon Bay, WI 920-743-6988 • 920-743-6494 “Where your Health is our Concern” Fish Creek • Sister Bay • Sturgeon Bay RbC Wealth management® Randall R.
