The Miracle Enzyme
Serratiopeptidase ( serrapeptase) is a proteolytic enzyme derived from the nonpathogenic enterobacter,
Serratia marcescens. It is absorbed through the intestines and transported directly into the bloodstream. It binds to alpha 2 macroglobulin in the blood in the ratio of 1:1, which helps to mask its antigenicity but retain its enzymatic activity.
