The Interoperability capabilities and power of the CliniComp|EHR system can be realized through its
Advanced Solutions capabilities of Reporting, Analytics, Population Health Tracking, Early Warning
Dashboard, and Telemedicine.
Advanced Reporting and Analytics
CliniComp’s Clinical Information System (CIS) includes a robust
reporting solution that can be created with current or historical
data across a single site or an entire patient population of
integrated sites. CliniComp|EHR provides user friendly report
templates that the end users can then design specific reports
interactively by drag-and-drop and point-and-click features.
Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) can immediately be
used to access the rich library of Clinical Concept Objects (CCO).
CliniComp has seen a paradigm shift for reporting due to a recent
transition from a relational to the current intrinsic CliniComp database
object model. Productivity is greatly enhanced in the interface with
the use of prescripted and Real Time Reporting (RTR)
tools provided for graphics functions, such as pie charts, line charts,
area charts, etc. Additionally, CliniComp has an advanced querying
capability where queries can be saved or modified in a dynamic library.
For example, a staff query for real-time non-monitored data.
This data can also be queried with new variables, created
by computation using the query language. The data objects
themselves can also be computed variables to provide results such
as SOFA (Sequential Organ Failure Assessment**) Scores. SOFA is
the complex multi-system predictive scoring tool used to estimate
the risk of morbidity and mortality.

CliniComp|EHR Early Warning Dashboard*
Early Warning Dashboard
• Can be configured into various dashboards and displays
They may monitor in real-time, multiple patients from several
locations within a single view to consider notice for a patient
record. To support the clinicans’ decisions, the CliniComp
Telemedicine capability can support provider to provider
consultation within that patient’s record.

Population Health Tracking
The healthcare systems of the future must be efficient at
maintaining and tracking population health. The focus is on
maintaining wellness and optimizing chronic disease management
over time. Thereby, these Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
will need to provide the tools to successfully manage both
individual and populations. Real-time reporting of measures of
individual and population health will allow providers and entire
health systems to better utilize resources and contain costs,
providing intrinsic revenue cycle management. The ability to
match costs with patterns of care and stratify costs based on
population health will be essential to optimize cost containment in
the new accountable care models.
The CliniComp Telemedicine capability is seamlessly integrated into
the CliniComp|EHR and can be initiated within a patient record.
Clinicians may communicate, view, generate, and update a single
record. A Telemedicine encounter report is automatically created and
can be annotated by clinicians through their communication links.

between clinicians

• Capture and store high resolution images to patient record

• Document Provider’s plans on the patient’s record for remote
real-time viewing of patient data by another clinician
A key to this success is the ability to easily access data from all
encounters across the entire health system. Only EHR systems that
have a clear development strategy to provide the tools to manage
population health will succeed in the future healthcare environment.
With CliniComp’s Early Warning Dashboard (EWD), healthcare
providers can achieve population health management through the
simultaneous clinical surveillance of diverse patient populations.
