EVERYONE HAS GOALS...
My parents bought me
my first pony when I was 6.
They immediately enrolled
me in lessons at a local barn
where I could learn the
basics. From the very
beginning I had goals. I
wanted to canter before I
could post, jump before I
could two point and horse
show before I could even
remember where I was going.
It seems like it has been a
lifetime of reaching, dreaming
and training to attain these
goals. I had to learn how to
post trot, canter in my two
point and practice many
courses to get where I am
today.

a limited amount of ponies
at our Monday Horse
Shows. But the ones we
do see are giving it all
they’ve got. The ponies
come in every size, color
and stage of training to
compete at the Sunshine
Series.

Just like horses these
ponies need a place to get
started. Whether its the
pony or rider, Upper Scotch
Farm offers an excellent
facility to introduce the art
of Horse Showing and
develop the confidence in
both athletes to reach their
biggest goals!

RULES AND REGULATIONS
Equine Canada rules will generally apply.
Management reserves the right to make any changes!
The Competitor - All Riders, Horses and Ponies are welcomed.
Each Horse/Pony may only be ridden once in any Division, but my be
shown in multiple Divisions.
Soundness - Every Horse/Pony must be serviceably sound in eye,
wind and limb.
Attire - Helmets must be worn at all times while mounted. No Rider
may wear or carry any electronic device in the show ring. Formal
attire is required.
Membership - Every Competitor/Owner must have a current OEF
membership.
Horse boots are permitted
All Dogs must be on a leash or safely contained at all times. The two
farm dogs will greet you upon arrival so please DRIVE SLOWLY!
YEAR END AWARDS
Some changes have been made to the points system in 2014.
Points will be awarded to all Horse/Pony Rider
combinations in each Division.
1st - 7 Points
2nd - 5 points
3rd - 4 Points
4th - 3 Points
5th - 2 Points
Awards and Prizes will be presented at our Appreciation Gala. A
date will be set for our Appreciation Gala towards the end of the
summer. Everyone is welcome to attend.
