GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The MDR6 is a six channel mixer, with four low noise
microphone pre-amps. The MDR6 also features HDM
(Hard Disk Mode), which when engaged, provides a special
monitoring and bussing mode ideal for interfacing with
a computer based hard disk recorder. Clean, clear sound
reproduction with dazzling digital effects packaged in a rugged
enclosure, ensure reliable high quality sound from performance
to performance. Optimized for recording, live sound
reinforcement and commercial installations, the MDR6 is an
ideal mixer solution offering big sound in a compact package.

The Samson MDR6 shall be a 6 input, stereo output mixer.
It shall have 2 mic channels with trim controls, HF, MF,
and LF equalizer controls, 1 aux send, pan control and a
60mm fader. It shall have 2 mic/line stereo channels with
all the same controls as the mic channels except for the trim
control. 60mm left and right output faders will be available.
Each channel shall have a REC button which when pushed
(along with the Hard Disk button in the master section)
allows that channel’s output to be sent through the 2TK
output and to a computer for recording without getting a
loop. A mono output with level control shall be provided. A
control room and headphone output and level control shall
also be provided. The MDR6 uses an external power supply.
