AIM Herbal Release® is a combination of ten herbs that
work together to promote a strong and healthy immune
system by cleansing and supporting other body systems.
Key Benefits & Features
The Immune System

The immune system is like an army that fights off invaders. It
extends throughout the body to protect against bacteria, viruses,
and cancer cells. Seventy percent of the immune system is found
in the digestive tract, so a healthy digestive system is crucial to
having a strong immune system. An unhealthy digestive system, for
example, a clogged colon that is impacted with fecal matter, disturbs
the absorption of nutrients. If the body is not properly absorbing
the nutrients it needs, the immune system is weakened. But if the
immune system remains strong, the body can stay healthy.
Vital to the immune system are a type of white blood cells known
as lymphocytes. They are the warriors of the immune-system army.
Lymphocytes are so essential to fighting off attackers that an entire
body system is named after them—the lymphatic system.
The lymphatic system consists of the lymphoid organs, which
are spread throughout the body—in the bone marrow, thymus,
lymphatic vessels, lymph nodes, and spleen, as well as the adenoids
and tonsils. The lymphatic system and lymphoid organs are involved
with the growth, development, and deployment of lymphocytes.
The lymphatic system plays a central role in building immune
response. It enables the body to produce lymphocytes, rid itself of
bacteria and viruses, and filter foreign substances and cell debris
from the blood. It also removes environmental toxins, which can
build up in the blood and eventually poison the body.
This integral component of the immune system is equally
vital to the elimination of waste products generated throughout
the body, including the waste that cells produce as part of their
metabolism. Dead cells are one of the major components of this

waste, collecting in the lymph nodes, where they are passed on
to the bloodstream, which, in turn, delivers them to the lungs,
kidneys, colon, and skin for elimination from the body. All of the
organs and body systems making up the immune system work
together to protect against disease and illness.
The ten herbs in Herbal Release support and cleanse like
back-up soldiers, providing an even stronger army to protect the
immune system.
Each herb was carefully selected for its ability to produce a
positive cell environment. Organs and body systems are comprised
of cells, so Herbal Release can benefit the stomach, liver, gallbladder,
pancreas, spleen, digestive system—including the intestines and
colon—the lymphatic system, kidneys, urinary tract, bladder,
circulation system, and skin—the largest organ of the body.
Medicinal Ingredients (per vegetarian capsule)
Cascara sagrada bark 75 mg
Antibacterial, antiviral, tonic, diuretic, laxative
Cascara sagrada contains anthraquinone, making it a mild
laxative. It also acts as a general tonic that promotes well-being in
all body systems.
Barberry bark 37.5 mg
Antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, immunostimulant,
parasiticide, laxative
One of barberry’s constituents, berberine, may have antibiotic
properties. According to Michael Castleman, author of The
Healing Herbs, barberry may also stimulate the immune system
and may activate macrophages, which are any large cells that can
surround and digest foreign substances. Other sources state that it
helps bile flow and activates the lymphatic system.
Boldo leaf 37.5 mg
Parsley leaf 37.5 mg
Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, vermifuge, laxative
Boldo, a natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, is an
evergreen shrub that grows in the Andes Mountains. It is said
to help with gallbladder problems. One constituent, ascaridole,
functions as a vermifuge, which expels intestinal worms.
Antioxidant, allergenic, anti-inflammatory, urinary tonic, diuretic
From the 1850s to 1926, parsley was recognized by the United
States Pharmacopoeia as a laxative and a diuretic. Today, it is more
commonly used as a breath freshener.
Buckthorn bark 37.5 mg
Antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, tonic, laxative
Sarsaparilla has been used in Europe since the sixteenth century
as a blood purifier. Sarsaparilla is also said to bind to endotoxins
and escort them out of the body. If endotoxins remain in the body,
they can contribute to a number of health-related problems.
Laxative
Buckthorn is a depurative, which promotes the excretion
and removal of waste material. It is also a mild laxative, due to its
anthraquinone content, and it is said to aid bile production.
Burdock root 37.5 mg
Antibacterial, lymphotonic, diuretic, detoxicant, immunostimulant
Burdock root has a long history as a detoxifier. Burdock can be
used to remove accumulated waste products. It is also known to
help with lymphatic congestion.
Chickweed aerial parts 37.5 mg
Anti-inflammatory, digestive, diuretic
Chickweed boasts many folk remedies, and is said to be an
excellent tonic for the blood.
Dandelion root 37.5 mg
Allergenic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antibacterial, laxative
Dandelion has a distinguished history as a detoxifier. It has
been called a fine remedy for a toxic liver. Dandelion is also good
for the lymph glands and some classify it as a lymphatic, which
cleanses the lymphatic system.
Echinacea root 37.5 mg
Antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, immunostimulant
Echinacea was used by Native Americans and, today, it is
recognized as an aid to the immune system. Echinacea contains
a natural antibiotic called echinacoside. Studies in Europe have
shown that echinacea increases production of T cells. Some
classify it as a lymphatic, which cleanses the lymphatic system.
Sarsaparilla root 37.5 mg

Q&A
Should I take AIM Herbal Release® daily?
The needs of each individual vary. Some people believe it
is useful to take Herbal Release daily for a short period of
time (for instance, one month).
What is the difference between AIM Herbal Release® and AIM
Herbal Fiberblend®?
Herbal Fiberblend provides overall detoxification and is
also a good source of fibre. As noted above, many Members
take Herbal Release with Herbal Fiberblend to achieve
comprehensive detoxification (see the Detox & Rejuvenate
booklet for more information).
Which other products work in conjunction with AIM Herbal
Release®?
Both Herbal Fiberblend and AIM fit ’n fiber™ help to
cleanse and detoxify the body. Since 70 percent of the
immune system is found in the digestive tract, either of
these products works well with Herbal Release. When taking
powders at the same time as Herbal Release, empty the
capsule contents into the powder(s) for simultaneous effect.
Are there any side effects?
Some people have experienced cramping. If this is the
case, take Herbal Release with meals or with Herbal Fiberblend.
