Odyssey – Truk Lagoon trip date:
Nov 26th – Dec 10th, 2017
Only 16 divers for this wonderful trip. Deadline to sign up is July 15, 2016.
TRIP DETAILS:
Must be Advanced Open Water.
Two Cabins for single only. All the others are shared cabins.
*Sample Itinerary based on leaving November 25th
You would depart November 25th, arrive Palau on the 26th (Sunday evening).
Nov. 26th - Dec. 3rd: Palau Royal Hotel, 7 nights, 5 days 2-tank diving with Sam’s
Tours, lunch on dive days, with all transfers $1,889.00 per person.
December 3rd: Fly back to Guam with a layover until you depart 7:45pm to
Truk. We recommend the Palmridge Inn, the Dayroom starts at $130.00,
double occupancy. There is a lot to see on Guam. We will be there all day
(5:30am to 7:30pm).
Note: A “day room” in Guam only if those arriving at 5:30 AM in Guam need some
sleep. Otherwise there is a lot to see in Guam. Those not checking in may check their
bags with the airlines for the trip at 7:45 PM the same day to Truk where we pick up
the Odyssey. You may want to add that next to Dec 3rd itinerary.
December 3rd - 10th: On the Truk Odyssey $3,195.00 per person plus taxes and Dive
Permit $209.75.
December 10th - 11th: Disembark Truk Odyssey after breakfast and stay for the day at
Truk Blue Lagoon Resort. The rooms are $150.00 for the day (double occupancy).
Depart December 11th to fly back to Guam, Honolulu, Houston and Newark.
Total cost of this “bucket list” trip *$5,368.75, 7 nights on your own while at the
hotel in Palau. Breakfast at the hotel is included. There are many restaurants to choose
from on the island for dinner at moderate prices ($5 sandwiches to $20 full meals).
Best fare United Airlines round trip is $2,339.60 (based on 2016 fares)
Airfare is not guaranteed until ticketed and hotel tax is subject to change.
