The RJ45 console port connector has been unofficially standardized on using the CISCO RJ45 console pinout. Most all network appliance vendors are using this pinout.
The RJ45 serial interface on all PA100 and PA200 series products is directly compatible with the CISCO
console port interface. All CDI products are shipped with RJ45-RJ45 flat ribbon cables that will connect
directly to any CISCO compatible console port. A standard CAT5 cable will also work
A BLUE RJ45-DB9F adapter is also shipped with each RJ45-RJ45 cable. This adapter will connect to any
DB9 DTE port similar to one found on any PC. For other interfaces, please contact support.
