Painting a Landscape for Rosemaling with Bev Gunderson
Have you ever seen the beautiful painted scenes some rosemalers place within their rosemaling designs? This class is for those interested in learning how to paint a scene and adapt it to rosemaling. After three days you will go home with a beautiful scene of Norway done in oils and a start on a projects from your own pictures. Bev Gunderson has been involved with INRA for many years and is an accomplished artist. A graduate of Ft Lauderdale Art Institute, Bev has taught landscape painting in an art studio, independent art and rosemaling classes for INRA. She has also done commissioned work in rosemaling, paintings, interior murals and decorating. Samples only –

Bring extra canvas and/or appropriate woodenware (plates, boxes, etc.) and some of your favorite pictures to discuss and work on. Beginner/Intermediate Rosemaling Class with Bev Gunderson
INRA will be offering a Beginner/Intermediate class this fall for those wanting to learn rosemaling or those who have taken beginning classes and would like to continue to build on the basic strokes and design from a previous class. This is a 4 week Saturday morning class where students will learn the basic C & S strokes, design elements, some color theory as it pertains to rosemaling, embellishing elements and a general knowledge of rosemaling. A supply list will be sent upon registration.
