applique pieces for a project such as leaves, flowers perfectly. This class will show you how.
If you answered “Yes” to the above question/s, then you will find the ‘Artistic Edge Cutting Experience’ an

Our expert Artistic educator, Susan, will guide you through a series of projects highlighting the ease of use

Ring of Wreaths
While this wonderful design shines creating
a harmonious ring of pieced wreaths in festive greens for Christmas, it would be equally beautiful in any color combination for
other seasons. The sewing is simple: strip
piecing for the majority of the block, plus a
little stitch and flip for the diagonal piecing.
The magic is in the triangles that pinwheel.
They look difficult and small, but they are
easy and fun! Available in multiple sizes,
including a wall hanging of just 4 blocks. Uses “Folded Corner Clipper”. # 676
Date: Friday evening October 23 & November 6
Time: 5:30-9 PM * Class: $60 + supplies

Unique
Techniques for
Bags & Totes
Laminated Cosmetic Bag
Quilted Silk Evening
Clutch
Laminated fabrics are versatile and easy to
sew. In this class you will be laminating
fabric and then sewing it up and turn it
into bag. The bag has a zipper on top. Once
you made one you will want to make more and give it away as
gifts.
It's quick fast and easy. The finished bag is approximately 7" X
9" and has a zipper on top. # 678
Date: Saturday, November 7 * Time: 1-4
Class fee: $30.00 Kit fee: $20.00
Recycled Grocery Tote
Make a one of a kind unique grocery bag using your empty snack
bags. We will be using clear vinyl to
fuse to the front and back of the
tote.
This tote is lamented in vinyl on the
inside also making it easy to clean.
We will be adding decorative stitches on the strap to make it a truly
unique tote. The finished bag size is
approximately 18" X 18". Bags with a plastic type finish work the
best. I.e. potato chips, Ramen noodles, and etc. The more color
you have the more colorful it will be. Please remove any oils on
the bag by wiping them down prior to class. #677
This quilted silk evening clutch is simple to make and
yet very elegant.
We will start by quilting the fabric and then ill be couching with a decorative thread. Hotfix crystals will be added to the fabric. The magic happens when we press the
Hotfix crystals in place and at the same time the fabric
will shrink 30 % from the original starting size giving it
the one of a kind elegant look.
We will then take the fabric and turn it into a lined
evening clutch—perfect for the holidays! The finished
clutch is approx. 13” X 17”.
All supplies will be provided for you in the kit including
the Silk Dupioni, thread and crystals. #679

NEW
CLASSES
Blockbuster …. A Beginner + Class
Diamond Detour …. A Beginner + Class
This is both a "strip" and fat quarter
friendly quilt. As little as 9 fat quarters or
(36) 2 1/2" x WOF strips make cutting easy
for a lap size quilt. Just one easy block
cut twice eliminates a lot of small piecing.
This pattern is a new fresh take on diamond
quilt designs. Show off your favorite prints,
create a cascade of color or feature a single
print as the background. The pattern includes
three sizes: Tall (33in x 45in), Grande (58in x
77in) and Venti (84in x 99in). The pattern is
fat-quarter or 10 in square precut friendly.
You will need the 60 Degree Triangle Ruler
for this quilt. A 3-session class. #675
