Locate the trucks main fuse panel. Using the supplied fuse removal chart for
your year make and model truck and pull the required fuses. This step is
crucial for you to safely download to your truck. Pulling the selected fuses
will temporarily disable some computers in your truck from interrupting the
downloading process. If the fuses are not pulled you could suffer ECM
damage.
Connect the Supplied cable to the tuner. Make sure it has a good connection.
Locate the ALDL port on the driver’s side of the cab. The ALDL port is located
under the dash above the parking brake. Plug the corresponding end of the
Stealth Tuner cable into the ALDL port.
Turn the key to the on position, but do not start the vehicle. The key must be

Tow Performance will firm the shifts so there is little slippage when towing a
load.
High Performance will set the transmission to the highest firmness that is
safe for your transmission. This reduces clutch slippage at high rpm shifts.
You may also leave your transmission with the stock settings. The truck will
still likely shift very slightly firmer than stock with the added power.
You can use any of the transmission firmness settings with any of the engine
tuning settings.

Tow Performance helps to hold the vehicle in gear longer so that you will
have less downshifting when pulling a load.
High Performance will make the transmission downshift much sooner when
throttle is applied. It also lets the truck shift at a highest rpm that is safe for
your truck. The High Performance setting is very aggressive with its shift
points.
Once these selections are complete you will be sent back to the Tuning
Options screen. Here you may Install your selected tuning now or move to
