Every industry should have a Blueprinter Designed, developed and produced in Denmark. Blueprinter provide an office friendly 3D printer, that enables millions of CAD users to realise their own designs with great detailed plastic models – It’s easy, fast and low cost. AFFORDABLE Blueprinter makes 3D printing affordable. The cost of professional high quality 3D printing has been drastically reduced: Average cost pr. print: 0,18 EUR pr. cm3. OFFICE FRIENDLY Blueprinter is designed to be installed in the office. Printer dimensions: 113 x 50,5 x 59 cm. EASY TO OPERATE 100% web based software makes 3D printing as easy as traditional 2D printing. NEW TECHNOLOGY The Selective Heat Sintering™ (SHS™) technology uses a low cost commercial thermal print head as opposed to expensive lasers. READY-TO USE Load and press Print when ready. Blueprinter is ready for use five minutes after finishing the previous 3D print. FREE FORMING Blueprinter works by applying heat on layers of thermoplastic powder, allowing the free forming of any complex geometrical shape with the minimum wall thickness of 1 mm. REUSABLE ECONOMIC MATERIAL Thermoplastic powder optimized to work with SHS™ technology. Monocrome white. Excess powder is reusable. No need for additional support materials, models are supported by the powder in the build chamber. LOW COST THERMAL PRINT HEAD SHS™ technology uses a low cost commercial thermal print head as opposed to expensive lasers. Blueprinter is the solution Blueprinter M3 is the ideal printer for designers, engineers, architects as well as manufacturers, education and industry. It’s web based interface is as easy to use as a regular office 2D printer, whilst providing parts at a fraction of the cost of similar 3D printers. DESIGN Blueprinter provides finished, high-quality parts for presentations of fully formed designs, to scale or otherwise. It is also an easy-to-use model creator for designs in progress. ENGINEERING Blueprinter is ideal for developing new industrial products. With Blueprinter, creating fully functional samples of prototypes becomes easy, while the tough and strong finished prints are ready for tests and use in practice, before putting the final product into production. EDUCATION Blueprinter provides support for students working on technical projects, whether this be engineering or other areas of science education. Furthermore, Blueprinter is ideal for teaching students the application of powder based printing technologies. MEDICAL Blueprinter can provide the ideal output for printing bone structures for complex reconstructive surgery, or medical models for medical schools and hospitals. Taking .stl files from CT Scan data, the printed parts provide solid models, allowing them to be drilled or metal work fitted prior to operations. Having this facility can save hours in planning, and operating theatre time, meaning the patient spends less time under anesthetic and cost saving to the hospital. ARCHITECTURE 3D prints of buildings, sculptures etc. are created to any scale with Blueprinter, using the webbased software. The solid prints and practically limitless possibilities for creating shapes are perfect for presentations. Order your own sample at www.blueprinter.dk Insource your 3D printing GET CREATIVE – Free your designs, think outside the box. Having a Blueprinter frees you to explore the design, creating parts that you can hold in your hands and allowing you to see the full impact of your design changes, which is something you cannot do on screen. Imagine showing parts to your team or customer, if a picture is worth a thousand words – imagine the communication you get from a model. It’s priceless! SAVE TIME AND MONEY – With Blueprinter you can print in-house, creating your parts quickly, whether it’s a small / medium business or within a department. Today, a lot of companies still outsource their 3D printing towards the end of the design stage, needlessly costing valuable time and money. Having your own 3D printer frees up the design process, printing and designing are combined, reducing mistakes, evaluating designs much earlier, saving money and time throughout the produces. CONFIDENTIALITY – Having a Blueprinter means you can keep sensitive design data and models secure within your business. Printer features and advantage • SHS™ technology uses a low cost commercial thermal print head as opposed to expensive lasers. • The thermal print head applies heat on layers of thermoplastic powder in a heated build chamber creating free forming complex geometries. • 100% web based interface works with Windows, Mac and Linux. • Maximize your time by printing multiple parts in one build without slowing the system down. • All supporting surrounding powder is reusable and can be re-used for the next build. SPECIFICATIONS Build Chamber: Build Speed: Layer thickness: File format: Printer dimensions: Average cost pr print: 157 x 200 x 150 mm 2-3 mm /per hour 0.1 mm STL 113 x 50,5 x 59 cm 0,18 € pr. cm3 MATERIALS • Thermoplastic powders optimized to work on SHS™ technology • Monochrome • Reusable powder • No need for additional support materials models being built are supported by the powder in the build chamber With Blueprinter, we can now produce the prototypes in-house, keeping the design process secure and at a fraction of the price. We have been using Blueprinter since November 2013, and are very happy with the output. We have been printing both entire hearing care solutions as well as single components to be fitted into bigger solutions. Lars Lund Jørgensen, Task manager in AM technology, Oticon.
