Winner selected April 1 (& that’s no joke!) A Message from our new Recreation Supervisor: My name is Casey Stewart and I am honored to be part of the Town of Sullivan Parks and Recreation Department as the Recreation Supervisor. I was born and raised in North Syracuse where I have worked for the North Syracuse Parks and Recreation Department since 2010 as the Program Assistant. I graduated from Onondaga Community College with a degree in Recreation Leadership in December of 2012. I started working at WonderWorks when they opened in 2012. I worked my way up into the sales office and just left when I received the position here at the Town of Sullivan. I am very excited about working with the residents of the Town of Sullivan. This town takes great pride in their sports, youth activities, and their community as a whole. You may have already seen me around as I make an effort to get out to see all of our wonderful programs. If you have suggestions or ideas to improve existing programs or ideas for new programs please let me know. If you are interested in working in the summer for our Playground Program please contact me regardless if you have worked in the past or are interested in working in the future. I look forward to developing a positive relationship with the people of the Town of Sullivan! Casey Stewart Recreation Supervisor Coloring Contest CONTEST RULES 1. Electric space Phone: 315.687.9346 heaters are a major cause of many house fires. Have an escape plan from your Thomas J. Kopp home in the event of a fire. Preplan [email protected] a place to meet outside of your Councilman home. Doing this will eliminate any Phone: 315.687.9626 confusion in the event of a fire. Meet near the swing set, mailbox or other preplanned meeting location. If you are using a wood burning stove, be sure to keep all safety clearances near and around your stove. Clean the piping often to prevent having a chimney fire. Burning well-seasoned wood is also a good practice. House numbers are very important. Have the numbers clearly posted on the front of your house. Posting four-inch numbers is suggested. This is important for fire calls but is most important for any medical calls at your home. Watching the rescue people pass your home will waste many critical moments.
