Greensboro, NC 27407 phone (336)294-1800 fax (336) 851-9499 Policies: Wedding Ceremonies held at Grandover must be followed by a Reception held at Grandover The Wedding Reception must be completed by 1:00am Food and Beverage guarantee must be submitted seven business days prior to the event. All candles or flames must be enclosed in a glass chimney or votive holder. All food and beverage is subject to a 21% service charge and current North Carolina State Sales tax. All Food and Beverage with the exception of the Wedding Cake, must be provided by the Hotel. No Banquet Food may be removed from the Reception Room. The Hotel reserves the right to inspect and control all private functions including the volume of music. Decorations Rental items must be delivered to the Hotel through security the day before the event. Floral and cake delivery should be scheduled no later than two hours before the start time of the event. Smaller items, such as place cards and favors, may be brought to the catering manager two days prior to the event. Decorations cannot be attached to any lighting fixture, ceiling, wall, door or glass. All decorations and personal items must be removed at the conclusion of the event. The Hotel cannot accept responsibility for any items or personal property left behind Vendors A suggested list of local vendors is available for wedding cakes, music, coordinators, flowers, photography, rentals, ice carvings and transportation. All deliveries to be made by outside vendors should be coordinated through your catering manager. Please supply all contact information for these vendors. Please note that all vendor deliveries and group members must enter and exit the Hotel through security at the loading dock. Vendors are responsible for transporting their items to the ballroom for the event and will need to provide hand trucks. The Hotel cannot assume responsibility for any vendor equipment brought into the Hotel or left on premises for later pickup. Photography You are invited to enjoy the lovely gardens and picturesque areas of the Hotel for your wedding photography. Ballroom Minimums A food and beverage minimum will apply to your wedding based upon the ballroom reserved. This minimum includes all food and beverage ordered, as well as the service charge but excludes the current state sales tax and the wedding package fee. If this minimum is not met or exceeded, a room rental will be calculated as the difference between the actual food and beverage expenditure and the minimum. Payment A payment schedule will be created for you based on the food and beverage minimum for your reception room and will be sent to you after the receipt of the signed contract. 100% of the estimated cost will be due no later than 30 days prior to the wedding date. Cancellations Arrangements are confirmed with the receipt of the signed wedding contract and the wedding package fee. If a wedding is cancelled after the contract is signed, the wedding package fee is not refundable. A cancellation fee will be assessed, based on the total of the estimated bill as follows: More than 9 months prior to event date 270 days to 121 days 120 days to 61 days 60 days to 7 days Less than 7 days 10% of the estimate 25% of the estimate 50% of the estimate 75% of the estimate 100% of the estimate If the menu has not been finalized, the food and beverage minimum for the ballroom reserved for the wedding event will be used for purpose of the estimate. www.grandover.com 1000 Club Rd.
