a colouring-in activity sheet is also available.

2016 Visitor’s Guide
Location: between Muddy Duck Farm and Zoo
Enjoy traditional English refreshments in the elegant
surroundings of our recently renovated Georgian
mansion. Serving Taylors of Harrogate fine teas and
coffees, accompanied by brunch, speciality sandwiches,
main meals and afternoon teas. You can also join us for
fine dining on selected evenings. This venue is available
for weddings and private functions.

Animal Encounters
WiNTER AT
An opportunity to enjoy a first-hand experience of our
penguins, lemurs, meerkats, giraffes, sea lions or bird
display. Lasting between 20 and 30 minutes, these
hands-on sessions start from just £20. Minimum age
eight years. Pre-booking required.
Costa Café
Location: Muddy Duck Farm
At Costa Café you can enjoy a great range of drinks and
snacks including delicious hot paninis, freshly baked
baguettes, assorted muffins and cookies. It’s a great
place for sitting back and relaxing too, making it ideal for
savouring Costa’s distinctive blend of coffee, Yorkshire’s
finest tea and truly indulgent hot chocolate.
The Jolly Sailor
Location: Seaside Adventure
A classic fish and chip restaurant and takeaway, with
conservatory and outdoor dining. Enjoy the taste of the
seaside with our traditional daily special, plus delicious
starters and desserts to compliment your meal. An
example menu would include haddock, chips, peas, bread
& butter with a pot of tea, or haddock fish cakes.

Jungle Joe’s Food Court
An unforgettable experience for animal enthusiasts,
incorporating a full day working with our team. For just
£175 per person, participants have the opportunity to
interact with a truly amazing variety of species. Minimum
age eight years. Advance booking required.

Step inside our fantastic food court and we are sure you
will find something to temp your taste buds. Here you
can choose between burgers, gourmet hot dogs, chicken
burgers and paninis. Alternatively, visit Fabrizio’s Pizzeria
counter for a range of tasty treats or Starbucks for your
favourite coffees, teas and hot chocolates.
Discover the Boma Café and Waterfront Café too, both serving delicious light refreshments throughout the day.

The Gourmet Grill
A classic 1950’s American Diner with rock and roll music
and meals bursting with stateside flavours. A sample
menu would include an American favourite breakfast,
BLT gourmet hot dog, breaded southern fried chicken,
burgers and pancakes. Enjoy an American themed shake
or soda drink.
Using regionally sourced produce to create the ultimate
burger bar experience, serving Costa Coffee. The menu
includes the best chargrilled burgers consisting of
gourmet beef, chicken, lamb or veggie burgers. You can
also enjoy gourmet Yorkshire pork sausages and hot
waffles with ice-cream.

•The busiest period in our restaurants and cafés is between 12pm and

between Children’s Planet and The Coach House country pub.
•All indoor food outlets have bottle warming facilities. Costa Café, Jungle
Joe’s Food Court and Waterfront Café have facilities to warm baby food.
•Gluten-free options are available at many of our food outlets – just ask!
•Parties can be catered for in Metropolis Bar & Grill, The Coach House and
The Mansion House & Tea Rooms. We will also be pleased to provide a
