The Zoo says “thanks” to all visitors with

enrichment demonstrations.

Meet the keepers, animal encounters, holiday crafts,

Noon Year’s Eve

Ring in the New Year 12 hours early with a ball drop
at noon, animal encounters, reZOOlutions and crafts.

Spend a magical day meeting princesses and frog
characters, and learning about amphibians.

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is owned and operated by Cleveland Metroparks, a
separate political subdivision of the State of Ohio that consists of over 23,000 acres
in 18 reservations and the Zoo. The Park District is governed by Cleveland Metroparks
Board of Park Commissioners, composed of three citizens who serve three-year terms
without compensation. Board members are appointed by the senior judge of the
Probate Court of Cuyahoga County, the Honorable Anthony J. Russo.

• Help us maintain a healthy, positive environment, please do not feed or tease the animals.
• Don’t throw objects, including coins,
in the water.
• The Zoo is for all to enjoy, so take your time,
be considerate of others and have a great visit!

Winter Highlights
Even on the coldest of days, the Zoo offers many warm indoor exhibits and amenities.
• Explore the warmth and beauty of The RainForest, home to 600 animals and 10,000 plants.
• Visit the indoor facilities at African Elephant Crossing and observe elephant care firsthand.
• Warm up with the wolves inside Wolf Wilderness in Northern Trek.
• Be sure to see the Zoo’s Public Greenhouse, the Sarah Allison Steffee Center for Zoological Medicine,
the Primate, Cat & Aquatics Building and the koalas inside GumLeaf Hideout.
