Zoo Rules: Tips for a great Zoo visit! • Please don’t tap on the glass to get an animal’s attention; instead, try being quiet… your favorite animal might get even closer. • Nobody likes a stomach ache. Our animals will get sick if you feed them anything, or put anything into their exhibits. The Zookeepers feed our animals very well, so they aren’t hungry! • Keeping the Zoo and our environment clean is everyone’s responsibility. Make sure you pick up your trash: recyclables go in brown bins, everything else in the trash bins. Education Classroom • Stay outside animal exhibits; it is against the law to enter any animal enclosure without the consent of an authorized Zoo representative. Explore Store The Wave • Don’t pull or step on our collection of plants. We are one of the most beautiful Zoos in the world, and need your help to keep it this way! Hilltop • Help us make sure everyone has a great time at the Zoo; if you see anyone breaking the rules please call us at (805) 962-5339.
