VANS presents the 53rd annual coastal
edge east coast surfing championships
August 16th – 23rd, 2015
COMPETITION: Competition schedules and heat schedules will be posted each day on the beach and at www.surfecsc.com
AWARDS: Top winners in each event will receive special collector trophies. All competitors will receive a competition t-shirt
ENTRY FEE: AMATEUR FEE: $50.00 for each event entered.
PRO FEE: $150.00 for Longboard Pro / $5,000 Purse, $150.00 for Pro Women, $150.00 for *Tautog’s/Doc Taylor’s Pro Open
Shortboard for Tandem: (2 persons) $100.00 entry fee.
Late entry fee is an additional $50.00 for PRO and AM. Heats will be limited. Slots allocated on space available – first come, first serve
basis. No Beach Entries.
PAYMENT INFO: Make checks payable to ECSC. Mail entry form to: ECSC SURFING 1112 Jensen Drive, Suite 103, Virginia
Beach, VA 23451. You may also pick up entry forms at any COASTAL EDGE location.
DEADLINE: Postmarked no later than Friday, August 7th. Online entries, August 7th.
Drop-off at COASTAL EDGE located at 216 21st St., Virginia Beach no later than Monday, August 10th.
Late REGISTRATION: Late entries will be held Friday, August 7th from 5pm-7pm at COASTAL EDGE located at 216 21st St., Virginia
Beach. No personal checks accepted after deadline – must be cash or money order only! All entries received after August
10th will be subject to a $50.00 late fee – no exceptions – and space availability!
Quiksilver Super Groms – Sunday, August 16th – 12pm-4pm - Postmarked no later than August 1st.
*Winner of the Tautog’s/Doc Taylor’s Pro Open Shortboard receives a paid entry and ASP membership ($450 value) a nd a wildcard
slot into the VANS Pro Men WSL (Only surfers with no membership or prior affiliation with WSL.)

In consideration of acceptance of my application to the 53rd Annual CE ECSC, I hereby release the Virginia Beach Jaycees, Resort Management,
LLC, their members, the city of Virginia Beach, all sponsors, agents, successors and assigns any other person or organizations officially connected
with their competition from liability for and all injuries or damages whatsoever arising from my participation or presence at their event. I also
give my release for the use of photos, film or video taken of me at this event. I fully understand that I will be disqualified from the competition
if I am found guilty of any rules violation, without refund of entry fees. In addition, I am responsible for keeping posted of any changes in the
schedule times. Applicant acknowledges that they are participating at an outdoor event, which is subject to sudden changes in weather, including
thunderstorms, high winds, etc. Applicant acknowledges that no refunds will be made as a result of inclement weather during CE ECSC 2015.
