Keowee Key Property Owners’ Assopciation, Inc. 1302 Stamp Creek Road, Salem, SC 29676 864.944.2312 www.keowee-key.com An Exceptional Location Set against the lush backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Keowee Key is a unique, gated community on the shores of what has been called the most beautiful lake in the South. With more than 300 miles of shoreline and countless coves and islands, Lake Keowee is a pristine, blue-water lake that boasts year-round boating, fishing and water sports. Golf – Originally designed by George Cobb, Keowee Key's golf course was renovated in 2006 by Pinehurst architect Richard Mandell. Painstakingly maintained, this challenging 18-hole, par 72 course meanders through the community. With its demanding topography, the 6,426 yards of this golf course are a distinct challenge to any golfer, and four tee boxes are offered to match varying skill levels. All this beauty comes with a climate that has four distinct seasons -- none of them lasting too long. The mild winters occasionally offer a dusting of snow to remind us of winters elsewhere, but the long, warm falls and the early, colorful springs encourage a year-round, outdoor lifestyle. Country Club Living at its Finest Carved out of a forest of hardwoods and pines, covering 1,600 acres, surrounded by the lake and graced by views of the nearby mountains, Keowee Key is a pretty place to live.
