It will still have all the information you need, but it’s designed to be simpler, smarter and much easier to read. Telecom Broadband Assist is a free tool you can download to your PC to help set up Telecom broadband and sort out common connection or email problems. If you’re still stuck, you can call our team at any time and they’ll use Broadband Assist to remotely access your computer and get things sorted for you. How they use it, is up to them. In the last year, our team have helped with beach clean-ups, created public walkways for nature reserves, organised knit-a-thons and more. So if you know a school, charity or community group that needs some help, go to telecomfoundation.org.nz to let us know what you need and we’ll see what we can do. What can you do with mobile data? If you have a mobile phone, chances are your plan gives you mobile data. But lots of people ask questions about how they can use it. So here are some easy answers. Tips on making the most of mobile data You can do almost anything online with your mobile. The amount of data you use depends on what you’re doing. Some things, like checking email and web browsing, only use a little data, while others, like music and video, use more. That’s why many people save mobile data by connecting their mobiles to their home broadband using WiFi.
