IMPORTANT CAMP FACTS
CAMP APPLICATION

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Dear Parents and Campers,
High school students (male and female) entering grades
10-12 in the fall of 2016 and newly graduated high school
seniors are eligible to participate.
It’s time to think about summer and CAMP TIMOTHY! The staff, counselors and young people
that participated will attest to the fact that it is a wonderful experience. We will continue to work each
year to make it even better! We want Camp Timothy to be the best faith experience your teens will ever
have! We also want to get as many kids to enjoy this wonderful experience as we can!
Since Camp Timothy is staffed by volunteers and
college students, we are not equipped to handle
students with special needs.
For further information as to whether your child is
eligible to participate in Camp Timothy , please
contact Francine Swope in the Youth Ministry Office.
The office is open Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30 PM.

WHERE IS CAMP TIMOTHY HELD ?
Camp Timothy will be held at Camp Sequanota,
located near Jennerstown in Somerset County.
WHAT IS THE COST?
For members of a parish within the Diocese of
Altoona-Johnstown cost is only $325 per camper
which includes all fees for additional activities. Each
camper will also receive an official “Camp T” tshirt.
Since Camp is partially funded through the Annual
Diocesan Appeal, there is an additional fee of $50 per
child if your family is not registered at one of our
parishes.
CAMP TIMOTHY LEADERSHIP
The Camp Director, members of the Camp T Adult
Staff and an outstanding group of counselors will
working with campers and providing leadership
throughout the week.
CABIN ASSIGNMENTS
Since we will only be accepting a limited number of
campers, spots are first come first serve basis. We
will start with one male cabin and one female cabin.
As registrations come in, we will add cabins as necessary based on the gender of campers. Cabin mate
preferences should be indicated on the application.
Though we cannot guarantee that campers will be
with every person listed, we will do our best to accommodate camper requests. We ask that you list
no more than three (3) other campers on the
registration form.

One important note – if you feel your son or daughter cannot participate due to financial concerns,
please contact me about the Camp Timothy Angel Fund. Sometimes even a small amount can help get
a camper to camp! Every young person deserves this opportunity and we will do all we can to help ensure
they do!
(Additional $50 fee if you are not from the diocese.)
God has truly blessed the diocese with this wonderful ministry and we hope your teen can be a part

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Fill out the application form, sign it, and send it with a $50.00 (non-refundable) deposit per camper (list
camper’s name in the memo line of your check). Due to the fact that we are only accepting a limited
number of campers, registrations will be accepted on a first-come basis until camp is full. Since this is
a diocesan sponsored camp which is supported by the Annual Catholic Appeal, campers from within the diocese will be given first priority. Once camp is full, we will start a waiting list.

DEADLINE for registrations is May 20, 2016. The balance of remaining camp fees is due in the Youth
Ministry office no later than June 13, 2016 – to ensure your child’s spot at camp.
