Welcome
Welcome to the new Fife Play Resource Catalogue for 2014/15.
Fife Play Resource has been established within Fife Council as a toy and equipment lending
library for the past 10 years and is based in Education & Children’s Services. Our aim is to ensure
that the service you receive should be of the highest quality.
We offer an incredible selection of quality toys and equipment for loan on an annual membership
basis
Our membership is available for a diverse range of groups working with children and young
people through to community groups for adults and the elderly
We provide free deliveries and collections of all toys and equipment covering areas of Fife
By becoming a member you can have access to over 600 resources
Take a look at our membership fees section for further information containing full details of the
service we offer and play resource staff will be more than happy to offer any advice or help.
From April 2015 we will be offering members a new and exciting membership fee structure that
will enhance the service that we currently provide to include workshops and resource ideas.

Potters Wheel
The G29 has been extensively developed to provide a
wheel with unrivalled power and torque characteristic and

incorporates a moulded polypropylene splash tray with drain
unit; it is complete with a 12” wheel head and fully adjustable

How it works
To become a member of Fife Play Resource we must receive a completed membership form, this
can be sent in by post or by email.
As soon as we receive your membership form we will send a confirmation email or if you do not
have access to email we will telephone you.
We will arrange for a Fife Council invoice to be issued for payment.
As a member you can borrow up to 4 items at a time.
Deliveries and pick-ups take place on a fortnightly basis.

Special deliveries
Members should check all toys and equipment on the day that they receive them and inform play
resource staff as soon as possible if there are any items missing.
We ask that all toys/equipment are returned clean, where possible. Members should ensure that they use
boxes/packaging provided and that the items are returned in the condition they were received and are
ready for collection by play resource staff.
Lost /Damaged Equipment
In the event of breakages or missing parts of toys/equipment please inform play resource staff as soon as
possible as another member could be due the loan of the toy/equipment.
Members are responsible for all lost items and will be asked to replace the lost toy or cover the cost
of the item. Any damaged items returned may result in a request for the replacement value or for toys/
equipment being repaired.
Bouncy Castle
We require to see a copy of insurance that would cover the use of a bouncy castle before a loan could be
made. Fife Council groups do not need to provide this. Members will receive the Bouncy Castle Training
provided by Play resource staff before a hire can be made.
