I have a list of people I know all written in a book
And every year at Christmas time I go and take a look

And that is when I realise that those names are a part
Not of the book they’re written in but of my very heart.

For each name stands for someone who has crossed my path some time
And in that meeting they’ve become a treasured friend of mine

And once you’ve met some people the years cannot erase

The memory of a pleasant word or a friendly face.

So when I send a Christmas card that is addressed to you
It’s because you’re on that list of folk I’m indebted to
And you are one of many folk who in times past I’ve met
And happen to be one of those I don’t want to forget.
And whether I have known you for many years or few
In some way you have a part in shaping things I do
This, the spirit of Christmas, that forever and ever endures
May it leave it’s richest blessing in the heart of you and yours.

We have designed a special 3 day festive programme
incorporating all the familiar aspects of a truly
traditional Irish Christmas. Roaring log fires, the
distinct aroma of pine needles, mulled wine and warm
mince pies drizzled with cream are all essential
elements of Christmas life at Ballymascanlon.
11:30am Mass in Ravensdale.

9:00pm Choice of Big Screen
movies for all ages.
12:00pm Gather in the Terrace Bar for
a champagne reception followed by a
4-course Christmas Day luncheon with
all the trimmings, served in our Garden
Room. Enjoy the dulcet tones of the
Manning Sisters string trio.

3:30pm Santa arrives with presents for
all the good boys and girls!
From 6:00pm Enjoy an indulgent five
course dinner in our dining room.

Mulled wine and freshly baked Mince

all your favourite Christmas Carols!
