Evan’s Creek ORV Recreation Area Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie national Forest 450 Roosevelt Ave East, Enumclaw, WA 98022 360-825-6585 Welcome to Evan’s Creek. In total, there are 40 miles of 4x4, motorcycle, and ATV trails. Trails vary in difficulty depending on weather and local conditions. Please remember to Tread Lightly as this will help to protect your National Forest. STREET LEGAL means that you must have the following to legally ride of forest system roads (numbered roads). o License plate with current tabs o Headlight and taillight o Turn signals / mirrors All vehicles must have adequate mufflers and all motorcycles, quads, and threewheelers must have spark arrestors approved by the Forest Service. ORV tabs / stickers do not entitle you to use the roads. This regulation was passed for your safety. Plan your routes accordingly so you don’t end up on roads. FIREWOOD Please do not gather firewood from the campground. Logs can be obtained along the FS Rd 7920 beyond trail 198. Cut only dead, downed logs smaller than 10” in diameter. Do not cut or injure live trees. NW FOREST PASS o Required in Evan’s Creed OFFROAD VEHICLE AREA. o $30 for an Annual Pass or o $5 for a Day Pass o Proceeds restore ecosystems, improve services and maintain recreation. o Purchase at local Forest Service ranger stations, Burnett Grocery, or Wilkeson Grocery CAMPGROUND CAMPING o 23 sites available. o 5 mph speed limit. o Quiet hours at 10pm to 8am. o Limit of stay = 14 days Overflow camping is allowed in the day use and various turn-offs along the roads. Please do not block trails / roads and please clean the firepit / campsite of trash before leaving. Parents are responsible for children! The campground is not a play area for ORVs! TRASH Trash service is not provided! Pack trash out, especially breakables like glass. Please . . . Do not put trash in the outhouses as this is difficult to remove. Do not put unburnable items (glass and aluminum) in campfire rings. MAINTENANCE Forest Service crews and volunteers contribute over a thousand hours annually on trail / campground maintenance and litter pickups. Vandalism is an ongoing problem.
