LUCI D’ARTISTA
1998-2013
A project by
Torino
capital of lights
Luci d’Artista is an en plein air contemporary art exhibition, focused on light and energy.
Appreciated in Italy and abroad, it attracts visitors from all over Europe.
The project venue includes the main streets and squares starting from November to mid January.
It arouses the interest of social networks and means of communication besides being a tourist attraction for hundreds of
thousands of people.
It’s an open project in constant evolution which involves both national and international artists together with young talented
creatives.
It is included in the European creative cities network for artistic lighting and can give birth to important projects and international
exchanges.
It’s always available to cooperate with firms which support the contemporary creative production.
Positive energy
for the city
Luci d’Artista is a virtuous example of intervention in public spaces where art is intended by citizens away from ordinary
exhibition places, allowing maximum availability and developing a valuable route in urban spaces.
Luci d’Artista is the leading event in Contemporary Arts Torino Piemonte: a unique project dedicated to contemporary art in
November, supported by the City of Torino, Provincia and Regione Piemonte. The brand brings together in a common planning
very important events such as Artissima and One Torino.
In December the two concomitant events, Luci d’Artista and Christmas with Flakes - a rich and varied calendar of music,
theatre, dance and open door performances- gather a large number of people who enjoy the shows and the city.
