Inter Parish Ministry was formed over 48 years ago to
assist families and children living in poverty. Today, over
40 churches, plus many individuals, businesses, schools
and other community groups support IPM’s mission and
bring hope to families in need.
We invite you to partner with IPM and share your “time,
talent and treasure” to enable us to help more families
know the love of Christ and move toward self-reliance.

What difference does IPM make to the
community? “IPM provides a channel
for businesses, schools, churches, families
and individuals to build on our connections as a human community.”
(Words from an IPM Donor)

in 2011.

Fight Hunger with the $1Million Dollar Feinstein
Challenge In March and April
Inter Parish
Ministry
For the 15th consecutive year, Alan Shawn Feinstein will divide
$1 million dollars among hunger fighting agencies in the USA!
Inter Parish Ministry is again participating in this
“Giveaway to Fight Hunger”. The money we raise in the form of
dollars and canned goods collected during March and
April will be counted toward the dollars distributed by the
foundation.
Last year IPM raised more than $48,000 during the Feinstein
Challenge with monetary and food donations.
We know you can help us beat that!
Hold a food drive in your neighborhood, at your business or
church. Contact Chuck at 561-3932 to coordinate your food drive.
By donating now you will be counted among the millions of
people who care enough to help those who are going without
food. That is something we all can take pride in!

Why Does IPM Matter to You?
“This image came to me: IPM Volunteers
are the bristles in a hair brush that is used
to brush through the tangles of life. Sometimes it takes several brushes to get all the
tangles out . . .but using a hairbrush
only once usually lifts our self-esteem and
helps us feel ready to meet life with a little
more confidence.
Hopefully, each visitor to IPM leaves
feeling better.”
Thanks to one of our loyal volunteers for sharing
these thoughts with us!

IPM 2011 Wish List
Recipient
Braedon Ramer is thrilled with
his new custom motorized
wheelchair. His story was
submitted by IPM to United
Way/Cincinnati Enquirer’s Wish
List and featured on
12/11/2011. Donors responded
and as a result, Braedon ‘s life is greatly improved by his new
specialized wheelchair.
Braedon was born with moderate to severe celebral palsy 10
years ago. He joined his foster family as an infant and was
adopted officially because his mother could not bear to see
him stay in the foster care system. Now divorced, Braedon’s
mother (who has two other children) is employed in the
human services field but has a limited income. She could not
afford the type of chair Braedon requires. IPM is honored to
help this joyful child and thanks everyone who helped make
his wish come true. Look at that happy smile!
