bonded, acetone resistant core.
Made from 13mm pile 100% polyamide fibres woven
into its backing. The fibres are thermotreated to give
them a 'crimped' effect which helps the fibres pick up,
hold and distribute the maximum amount of material.
In addition the backing of this high end fabric is treated
to reduce even further the possibility of fibre loss in
use.

hold and distribute the maximum amount of material.

This mini roller is made on 17mm diameter thermally
bonded, acetone resistant core.
Made from 100% pure new wool this 4mm pile height
fabric is a premium woven fabric specially designed for
the application of gel coat.
Very low fibre loss, combined with its pale cream colour
and dense pure wool fibres, makes this our top
recommendation.

This is made on 15mm diameter internal core (glued).
Please note, this product cannot be acetone resistant.
This product allows the use of a single steel bar push
on frame without using nut and washers. Made in the
highest quality 58-60Kg per cubic metre foam. This
product is very much high end at economic prices.
NO foam rollers are solvent resistant and therefore
have limited life in use BUT they are superb for
application of 2 pack epoxy resins and for paints
and varnishes. Results can be excellent.

woven into its backing for strength. (It is possible to
weave very short pile polyester fibre but in the case of

knitted into its backing. (Long 22mm Polipile polyester

The knitting fixes the fibres less securely than weaving,
so some fibre loss is to be expected.

has a very powerful cleaning action, removing grease,

Kovax Abrasives Maxcut ...continued
Maxcut is a very aggressive sanding disc. Ideal for the
coarsest sanding work, the removal of oxidation and all
the layers of paint up to the metal. Also very suitable for
sanding putty. The main advantage of the Maxcut is its
open structure. This structure guarantees efficient dust
extraction, which prevents the disc from clogging.
The result is extreme durability. Maxcut is particularly
suitable for surfaces to which a special greasy
(protection) coating is applied, that normally causes a
conventional disc to clogg very rapidly. Aggressiveness is
another keyword. Every grain consists of several small
grains. The combination of these so-called bundled
grains and the hardness of the grains, causes the
Maxcut to excel in aggressiveness. In addition, a Maxcut
disc distinguishes itself because it maintains its
performance, even after having reached the bare metal.

Maxfilm is used for the entire sanding process up to
applying the base coat. A true standout in
aggressiveness and durability. The film backing creates
a more direct contact with the sanding surface.
In combination with the sharp grains, this causes
increased aggressiveness of the disc. In addition, the
special anti-clogging coating provides Maxfilm with an
extreme long lifetime, the durability of 1 Maxfilm disc
equals that of 3 conventional paper discs. Because of
its high level of aggressiveness, only a limited number
of grains is required. This enables you to go through the
initial phase of sanding process more quickly and with
fewer grits. Consequently, both labour time and
material costs will be reduced considerably!

Yellow Film is used before applying the clear coat. It
sands the surrounding parts, to create perfect adhesion
for the new layer of clear coat. Yellow Film is also used
for the removal of the orange peel and imperfections.
The use of Yellow Film guarantees a perfect, non-visible
transition from the new to the old layer of clear coat.
The flexible film backing creates a more direct contact
with the sanding surface. The result is an aggressive
sanding disc. In addition, Yellow Film has a special
coating which prevents clogging and increases its
durability considerably.
