Potential Biohazard: Always dispose of the used lancet properly to
prevent injury or contamination to
others. Use a new MICROLET lancet each time you test . After the
lancet is used, it is no longer sterile and has the potential to spread
infection. All products or objects
which come in contact with human
blood, even after cleaning, should
be handled as if capable of transmitting viral diseases.
Clean your MICROLET2 lancing
device after every
use with a solution
of water and mild
detergent or a solution of nine parts
water and one part
bleach. Slightly moisten a tissue
with the solution. Important: Avoid
excess moisture. Remove the
endcap. Clean the exterior of the
device and interior and exterior of
the endcap. Wipe dry with a tissue
before use. Replace the endcap.
