- la 50e promotion entre à l'E.S.R.N.
90 ans accomplis que la première station radio est installée
sur un navire belge, le SS Princesse Clémentine.
90 ans d'histoire que le RADIO/ELECTRONICS OFFICERS CLUB se
doit de retracer et de conserver.
* Pour l'aider à réaliser cette mission le R.O.C.a fait appel à
"TRITON",divinité marine,fils de NEPTUNE,patron des Officiers
Radio & Electroniciens de marine.
* En réponse "TRITON" a confié au R.O.C. la CHARTE de son GRAND
ORDRE MARIN, Ordre créé pour perpétuer la sauvegarde de ses
travaux légendaires et de leurs évolutions modernes.
L'Ordre doit effectuer toutes les recherches nécessaires pour
retracer l'histoire des transmissions maritimes et de
l'électronique à bord des navires,et assurer sa conservation.

Pour assumer cette tâche le R.O.C. a institué le
» CONSEIL des GRANDS TRITONS EMERITES,gardien de l'ORDRE «,
qui sera aidé par tous les TRITONS, et est constitué par :

Le CONSEIL décrète des nominations et promotions des Candidats
TRITONS selon les critères établis par la Charte Interne,

Grand TRITON,
Grand TRITON Emérite.
Les nominations et promotions ont lieu lors du banquet annuel des
Anciens.Les insignes distinctifs restent la propriété de l'Ordre.
* Les TRITONS s'engagent à participer dans la mesure du possible
aux manifestations recommandées par le CONSEIL et à porter leur
insigne lors du banquet annuel et à toutes autres demandes.
La participation des Candidats TRITONS est un gage d'intérêt
pour une future nomination.

- de 50ste promotie doet zijn intrede in de H.R.N.S.
90 jaren zijn verlopen sinds het eerste radiostation op een
belgisch schip werd ingericht,SS Prinses Clementine.
- de RADIO/ELECTRONICS OFFICERS CLUB neemt op zich de taak om te
speuren in 90 jaar geschiedkundig verleden om dit veilig te
kunnen stellen voor het nageslacht.
* Ten einde deze zending tot een goed einde te brengen heeft de R.O.C
beroep gedaan op de zeegodheid TRITON ,zoon van NEPTUNUS en patroon
van de Radio-officieren en Electronici voor de zeevaart.
* Van zijn kant heeft TRITON aan de R.O.C, het handvest toevertrouwd
van zijn MARITIEME GROTE ORDE ,opgericht ten einde de bewaring van
zijn legendarische werken en hun moderne ontwikkeling ten eeuwigen
dage veilig te stellen.
De Orde aanvaardt de opdracht om al het nodige opzoekingswerk te
verrichten ten einde het geschiedkundige verloop te kunnen natrekken van de maritieme uitzendingen en de electronica aan boord van
schepen alsook om de bewaring ervan zeker te stellen.

De benoemingen en bevorderingen worden toegekend ter gelegenheid
van het jaarlijks banket van de Oudgedienden.De onderscheidingstekens blijven de eigendom van de Orde.

deel te nemen aan gebeurtenissen aanbevolen door de RAAD en hun
onderscheidingstekens te dragen op het jaarlijks banket alsook
telkens het hen zou gevraagd worden.
Het deelnemen door kandidaat TRITONEN betekent een blijk van
belangstelling die in aanmerking komt voor een latere benoeming.

Cher Président,
Par cette lettre je tiens à vous confirmer
la naissance du "Grand Ordre Marin du Triton" que le R.O.C.
a accepté de parrainer.
Pourquoi cet ordre?,j'ai pensé qu'il était
important de trouver une structure pour sauvegarder notre
histoire maritime particulière,dans un cadre suffisamment
ludique que pour y brasser les amitiés nécessaires à la vie
d'un tel projet.
Quant au R.O.C,dont la tâche n'est pas aisée
dans le contexte professionel actuel,ceci n'aurait été qu'une
facette de ses activités sans créer un nouvel évènement,le
parrainage du R.O.C. donne la garantie qu'il ne s'agit pas
d'une dispersion des efforts mais d'un nouvel élan.
L'accueil reçu par cette proposition lors du
banquet des Anciens le 19 octobre dernier,m'a confirmé dans
la continuation de la création de cette Ordre,et Nieuwpoort
18/10/91 est la date officielle de dépôt de la Charte.
Aussi,cher Président,je vous demande de bien
vouloir accepter d'être tout d'abord "Grand Triton Emérite"
et ensuite "Grand Maître gardien du conseil".
Le conseil,dont la nomination de facto est en
cours,déterminera les structures définitives et sera composé
de A.Dury - R.Ketelers - J.Croissiaux - F.De Roy - JM Borjans
