About Us
Core Values
The center points of our program are:
•the experience and qualifications of our staff
• maintaining low student-teacher ratios
•advanced academic/bible-based curriculum
We teach about the bible and Jesus’
works daily. We use a Bible Curriculum
by Karyn Henley; everyday each
lesson includes a Bible story and Bible
verse. Two days a week the children
gather for worship time. We conduct a
chapel time comprising of a dramatic
presentation of songs, movement,
prayer and a Bible story that
coordinates with the Bible Curriculum.
Colleyville Christian School is a Christian education program
designed to teach gifted and talented children in
a challenging academic and pleasurable social environment.
We are a Christian School and the
Bible is the primary source of our core
values.
Each age of child will be placed in the class that is coordinated with his/her kindergarten school
year.
We use the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) observation
checklist in each of our classrooms. We also follow the Texas State Minimum Standards and
Rules as published by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
Our Staff
Our staff is comprised of only certified teachers
and/or highly experienced teaching professionals
from the DFW Christian community. Colleyville
Christian School’s philosophy is to invest heavily
in the staff in terms of training, resources and
compensation because they will plant the seeds
that will help grow in the children for many years
to come.
Our Facility
Colleyville Christian School is located on a twoacre campus specifically designed to meet the
needs of early childhood education. In addition
to large classrooms, our campus has a library
with over 4,000 children’s books and five wellequipped playgrounds. During the summer of
2013, we renovated our outdoor rest area into a
brand-new functional covered gazebo chapel area
for the children! Parents are always encouraged
to take a tour of our campus.
