2014 Tsutomu Ito Team Taikai
We are happy to invite everyone back to beautiful Colorado!
Tsutomu Ito Cup: 5 Person­Team Taikai
This year we are introducing a Women’s Tournament prior to the Tsutomu Ito Cup. We are
planning on hosting a 3­Member Women’s Team “kachinuki” Style Tournament (based on
adequate attendance).
In this tournament format ­ the winner of the match stays in the court to face the next challenger
on the opposing team. If we do not have adequate attendance to field several teams in the
women’s division we will revert to individual competition format
Women may participate in Women’s Tournament and also hold a spot on their Tsutomu Ito
Team. They are only required to pay one registration fee to participate in both tournaments.

Friday/Saturday of the event. PLEASE make sure you put your dojo name in the comment field
on the website order, we will group shirts by Dojo.
All shirt Pre­orders are due by 4/21/14.
All participants must sign and submit a hardcopy of the Liability Waiver.
Please bring any Tasuki (red/white) Ribbons, and Shinpanki (Red/white flags)
We should have enough, but it will always help if there are extra!
We will have a Godokeiko on Friday night before the tournament. We have a permanent court for
anyone who wants to practice. Also we have a large gym that should accomodate keiko for
everyone. The YMCA is approx. 20 minute drive from the hotel location. The tournament­event is
within 5 minutes of the hotels. Deadline for Hotel Room Block at Drury Inn is April 15th.
We will be gathering everyone at our Second Dojo (Malone’s Grill) after Friday’s Godokeiko for a
meet and greet. It is just down the street from our dojo and we willl need a RSVP (on registration
packet) to allocate the tables for the event. All tables will have their individual tabs.
