Professor Łukasz Sułkowski, Jagiellonian University Dr Leszek Czarnecki presents a well articulated argumentation in favour of recognizing the importance of the firm’s shared emotional intelligence (IE) when determining its sustainability and efficiency. I look forward to the development of accurate methods of IE measurement and its comparison among organizations as the next step. The book’s unquestioned values include an extended firm DNA metaphor and a multitude of examples. … The author tries to present the issue under consideration in a clear and comprehensible manner that is also accurate. … The book is written in a lively, interesting language …, and makes an interesting read that is worth recommending to managers.’ (from a review) LESZEK CZARNECKI ‘The book presents a cognitively interesting attempt at the presentation of the DNA of an organization. The author combines various perspectives and threads, intertwining economic research attainments with those of evolutionary science, decisioning processes with emotional intelligence, and strategies based on the behaviours of organization members with predictions of the directions of future changes. … The approach used can be regarded as innovative, and the author’s holistic view of management processes …, combining perspectives and moving across disciplines, is a bold conceptual project that deserves popularization.’ (from a review) Professor Wojciech Dyduch, Katowice University of Economics Leszek Czarnecki has graduated from Wrocław University of Technology and received a Ph.D. in economics.
