Our school is quite specific, because it consists of 4
separate schools:
Bilingual middle school
High school
Technical college
Vocational school
Our school
Location
Our school is located in Oborniki Śląskie
near Wrocław in Lower Silesa voivodship.
The middle school and the high school are
in the same building in Wrocławska Street,
but the technical college and the vocational
school are in another building in Parkowa
Street.

The most interesting events in our
school
Day of the school patron –it is organized in
spring ( the movable event).The main theme is a
character of patron of our school-Karol von
Holtei. He was a local, German, romantic poet,
actor and theater director. He was born in
Wrocław, but he used to stay in Oborniki
Śląskie.
On this day one of the classes prepares games
and activities, that are aimed at getting to know
our patron.
Initiation ceremony
of the first year
This event always takes place at the end of
September. According to tradition, at our
school, tasks are prepared by the winner
class from last year. Tasks are different,
but everyone will find something
interesting. This feast is very funny and it's
one of the best events throughout the
school year.
Promotion party
It's a traditional dance for final grade high school
students. It is held approximately a hundred days before
the secondary school certificate. Usually takes place in
January or February.
The attire is formal; this means suits with neckties (not
tuxedos) for boys, and evening gowns for girls.
Additionally, girls wear red lingerie underneath, which
is believed to bring good luck at the exams.
The first dance is almost invariably a polonaise, which
students usually have to practice before the school ball.
