Our 2015 program year is quickly drawing to a close. On
behalf of our entire Auxiliary, I would like to thank all our outgoing officers for their service this
past year and extend best wishes for a productive 2016 to all the new officers.
Newly elected officers will be installed at the May meeting. We Welcome - President: Sally Phillips,
Sr. Vice President: Camille Klutz, Jr. Vice President: Ed Wojtecki, Treasurer: Kitty Siciliano
One important change, adopted this year, was the alignment of both Post and Auxiliary
meeting to fall on the same evening. It is nice to see spouses visit the Post together.
New members are welcome to the meetings as soon as they are voted in and receive their
temporary card. Mark your calendar for the third Monday of each month at 7:00 pm
A second milestone to recognize is that the Auxiliary now accepts both men and women as
long as the basic requirements are met. Congratulations to all the gentlemen who helped us drop
the subtitle “Ladies” from our official name.
Did you know our Auxiliary assists the Post by hosting monthly lunch outing for residents
of the Soldiers & Sailors Home and the VA Medical Center? Thank you to all the volunteers who
serve food, help set up and clean up as well as enjoy Bingo with the guests.
Have a wonderful summer and look forward to buying your tickets for our annual prize
raffle which will be drawn at the Post summer picnic!
