1. 2. Turn left out of Wheel Fun Rentals A onto bike path. Cross over bridge and continue on bike path along water to B-E Huntington City Beach/Pier. 3. Return to bike path at Pier. Continue south along bike path towards F Huntington State Beach. 4. Ride approximately 3 miles and cross over bridge continuing on the path. 5. 6. Veer left when path splits and follow bike path along highway. Cross G 2nd bridge and continue straight. 1 A Turn right on 36th St. 8. When you arrive at the end of 36th St., turn left on bike path and ride to H-I the Newport Pier. 9. As you exit the pier, turn right onto the bike path from pier plaza and continue South along path. At the end of Seashore Dr., cut through to your right to continue North along bike path. 15. Cross bridge and follow path approximately 10 miles back to WFR. The jetties are a popular surfing area, as it provides larger, faster waves for more experienced surfers. Huntington Beach Pier The pier is the longest concrete municipal pier in California. A fixture in the city for over 100 years, it is the most visited landmark at Huntington City Beach. The perfect place to enjoy an hour or a day. 2 Santa Ana River The Santa Ana River begins almost 75 miles away in San Bernardino County, California, in the San Bernardino National Forest. It eventually reaches its end between Huntington Beach and Newport Beach, where it spills into the Pacific Ocean. Despite much of the river being channelized in recent times, it still represents one of the largest river systems in Southern California. G Huntington State Beach This family friendly beach is connected to Huntington City Beach where there is plenty of room for bicycling, surfing, body boarding, skating and surf fishing. The beach also has fire rings for bonfires. At the southern end across Pacific Coast Highway are the Huntington Beach Wetlands, operated by the Department of Fish and Game.
