Solution
The largest lighted ski center in North
America, an innovative marketing
strategy and 7 spectacular hillsides,
including 145 trails and runs, Ski
Bromont became a victim of its own
success. The resort’s popularity, located
45 minutes from Montréal, required
a new chalet at the base of “du Lac
and des Épinettes’” runs, to meet their
customers requirements.
Ski Bromont quickly understood that the use of modular buildings was an attractive
and functional method of construction that effectively meets their customers’ needs
at a lower price than a conventional structure, while allowing flexibility for possible
expansion.
ModSpace came through on time and on budget and met all of Ski Bromont’s
requirements and those of their customers. The facility, deemed “L’Entracte”,
is composed of 14 modules, with cafeteria seating for 550 and offers skiers and
snowboarders a full catering service, washroom area, ticketing booths and an
abundance of lockers.
Inside Ski Bromont’s comprehensive solution customers and staff enjoy a large
commercial-grade kitchen with walk in coolers and freezers, to simple clothing hooks,
ski boot storage and non skid landings secured to helical pier foundations.
