catalogue, a new addition to our family of distributed labels with some
notable names on their roster.
Taj Mahal has been on the scene since the early 60s in Boston,
garnered nine Grammy nominations (winning two) and is revered by
both his peers and his fans. We are proud to offer a two disc CD Live
recording from Taj and the Hula Blues Band. Taj will be featured in a
major BBC/PBS series, American Epic, in January.
We distribute Adam Levy. We distribute Adam Levy. Yep---we had to
say it twice because we do indeed distribute two separate artists named
Adam Levy. For the last decade plus, we’ve offered Adam Levy, the fine
guitarist known for his work with Norah Jones and Tracy Chapman.
And now we are proud to offer Adam Levy, the singer-songwriter from
the Minneapolis roots rock legends the Honeydogs with his latest solo
release, Naubinway. As a side note, Adam told me that he and Adam
have twice performed together (NYC and Twin Cities) just for the sake
of their shows being billed as Adam Levy and Adam Levy!
Check out Beg & Borrow from the Battlefield Band laden with guests
joining Irish and Scottish musicians together; Canada’s great Rockabilly
band, Cousin Harley led by the brilliant guitarist Paul Pigat, return with
a live album; and Pete Kennedy (sans Maura, his partner in The
Kennedys) engages the City of New York on his first solo effort in
twenty years.
Twenty years in and a double-digit number of LPs and EPs later, the
innocence mission has returned with another personal album of
everyday observations of life. Cold Moon is a joint collaboration
between Alela Diane and Ryan Francesconi whose working together
freed them both from their simultaneous writer block last Winter.

Devin Millar, I'm A Celebrity
Introducing Devin Millar, a self-taught, multi-talented, 15-year-old whiz kid from Yacolt, Washington.
Millar began studying piano at age 5. By age 6 he was already toying around with digital audio and video
editing software. As an adolescent inspired by Daft Punk, Lady Gaga and musicians in his own family, it

Montreaux, Sign Language
The group Montreux was considered the "all-star-band" of the Windham Hill label, comprised of four of
its most illustrious artists: Darol Anger (violin), Mike Marshall (mandolin/guitar), Barbara Higbie (piano),
and Michael Manring (bass). Sign Language marks the group's first studio recording, having been
preceded by a well- received live recording, and was built upon the deep bond that Higbie and Anger had
already developed in a series of earlier releases such as Tideline and Live at Montreux. The group was
made up of close friends who had spent time together on individual projects, experimenting and jamming.
Joining the core four on Sign Language are guest musicians Will Kennedy (drums), Andy Narell (steel
pans), Benjy Wertheimer (tabla) and Frank Holder (percussion). The track "To Be" was nominated for a
Grammy.

Alela Diane & Ryan Francesconi, Cold Moon
Singer/songwriter Alela Diane and guitarist/composer Ryan Francesconi (Joanna Newsome) have
uniquely collaborated to create Cold Moon. At a friend's show in October 2014, the two chatted about how
they were both experiencing creative standstills. Ryan lacked inspiration to make more instrumental
music, and Alela was at a loss for how to start writing a new record after the birth of her daughter. Soon,
Ryan sent Alela several recordings of intricate, beautiful guitar pieces. She listened on repeat while staring
out the window at the changing leaves, initially unsure how to sing even a note over what she heard.
Eventually, something clicked and throughout the Winter, Alela travelled across town to Ryan's house to
woodshed the songs. Before they knew it, they had a record--a collaboration of voice and guitar with
intangible moods and resonances--a collection that calls you to reflect and be hopeful. A wintry music born
in December.

"Don and Karen (McCullough) Peris formed the innocence mission with school friend and bassist Mike
Bitts while the three were students at the Catholic high school in their hometown, Lancaster Pa, where

Lonesome Leash, Precious Features
Lonesome Leash is the solo project of Walt McClements, an accordionist and multi-instrumentalist known
for his work in Dark Dark Dark. Using a sparse palette of accordion, drums and voice, McClements crafts
stark yet complex songs, nervous and triumphant hymns to the restless where angular accordion lines
take prominence over the guitar in a nervy and strangely cinematic post-punk tradition. Precious Futures
strips the songs to their sinew, offering an approximation of the project's "one-man-band" live approach.
The album is comprised of fragmented stories where momentum, love, and lust serve as stand-ins for the
feeling of home. It is a record that chronicles movement and the thrill of the affair, but also explores the

Scotland & Ireland are separated by only twelve miles of water at their nearest point, so it's not surprising
