Remote Site Management
The MonitorIT Intelligent Agents
make it easy to proactively monitor
and manage customer sites remotely.
Any agent can be designated as
a “Master Agent” at a remote site,
behind a firewall, and configured to
proactively reach out to the central
MonitorIT server if a condition is met
and trigger an alert. There is no need
to deploy a separate server or proxy
at a remote location. Note: Intelligent
Agents are less than 0.1% CPU/ 16

P Master Agent - Designating an Intelligent Agent as a “Master Agent” eliminates any need to set up a separate
instance of the solution or Proxy at the remote site.
P Remote Site Auto Discovery - using a remotely deployed Intelligent Agent, you can automatically discover
hosts, VMs, physical servers, and network devices at that location.
P Central deployment of Agents or Agentless Collectors - using a single Intelligent Agent designated as the
“Master Agent,” you’re able to push agents to other VMs or physical servers, or leverage Agentless Collectors for
SNMP or Syslog monitoring of Virtual Hosts, Servers, or Network Devices.
P Quick and Easy Setup of Remote Management - Steps include:
P Remote installation of Intelligent Agent on VM, Physical Server, or Workstation
