How to login to the Alberta Netcare Portal Using a Web Browser
Step 1: Open a Browser and Enter the URL
To access Alberta Netcare Portal (ANP), open a browser from your desktop (ex. Internet Explorer or
Firefox) and launch this URL: https://access.albertanetcare.ca
This it will take you to this website:
Enter your user name, then enter
your 4 digit Fob PIN and the 6 digit
number that appears on your RSA
fob.
Click Logon.
You will now be directed to
the Citrix Web Interface.
Step 2: Install Citrix Receiver
On your first time to the site, you will be
asked to obtain the client software,
which means downloading a Citrix
Receiver application if you don’t already
have one installed on your computer.
You won’t be able to access ANP until
this step is complete. If this message
doesn’t appear to you, it is likely that you
already have a Citrix receiver installed.
In this case, proceed to Step 3.
Click on the link and follow the
information in the attached documents
(one for PC one for Mac).
You may need help from your
computer administrator for this step.
If you need assistance please contact
your Electronic Medical Record or
Pharmacy Management System helpdesk.

Once Citrix is installed, you can now
access the Portal Login page.
Step 3 Click the Icon:
From the Citrix page, click on the
Alberta Netcare Portal icon.
You will then be directed to the
Alberta Netcare Portal Login page to
login.
Step 4 Login to ANP:
Enter your username and password
and click login.
You should now be inside Alberta
Netcare Portal. Search for your patient
to start.
