ATELIERS
Les ateliers se déroulent au KINTEX 2. Les présentations,
les ateliers et les discussions vous permettent de vous
informer et de travailler avec des experts, parmi lesquels des
membres du Rotary expérimentés, des intervenants externes
et des jeunes.
Les ateliers traitent de nombreux sujets :

Former des dirigeants : conseils pour développer les
compétences au Rotary, dans le milieu associatif et dans
sa profession
•
Partenariats réussis : conseils pour travailler avec des
entreprises et des associations, d’autres clubs ou districts
ou des organisations parrainées par des clubs
•
Promouvoir le Rotary : explorer des moyens
d’améliorer notre image publique et de sensibiliser le
public
•
Service et actions : partager des exemples d’actions
réussies, des meilleures pratiques pour les subventions
mondiales et des approches pour monter des actions
durables et de grande envergure
•
Renforcer les effectifs : idées pour avoir des clubs
novateurs, promouvoir la diversité et améliorer le
recrutement et la fidélisation.
La majorité des ateliers sont présentés en anglais avec
parfois un service d’interprétariat. Un nombre limité
d’ateliers seront présentés en coréen ou en japonais.

proposant un service d’interprétariat en français ou italien

ESPACE CULTUREL (CULTURE ZONE)
Ouvert de 13 h 30 à 16 h 30 du lundi au mercredi, cet espace
vous permet de nouer de nouvelles amitiés et de découvrir
d’autres cultures par le biais d’activités pratiques qui ne
nécessitent pas la connaissance d’autres langues. Consultez
l’application ou passez à l’espace culturel pour connaître le
programme des activités.

un groupe de non-Rotariens partageant notre engagement
envers le service. Ses membres conçoivent et montent des

clubs. Nous comptons environ 8 700 UDC dans 90 pays.

After the physical needs created by a disaster are met, how
can Rotarians address psychological and spiritual needs?
After a March 2011 earthquake and tsunami devastated
Japan’s Tōhoku coast, U.S. Rotary clubs affected by the 9/11
terrorist attacks developed an innovative disaster response,
creating strong bonds with local Rotarians and bringing
healing to survivors in both regions. You’ll learn to think

with the Vodafone Egypt Foundation to improve literacy

Building Partnerships for Comprehensive Disease
Prevention and Treatment Campaigns

Rotary Family Health Days is a massive, comprehensive
Rotarian-led disease prevention program in Africa and
India. Over the last five years, Rotarians for Family Health
and AIDS Prevention in partnership with 564 Rotary
Clubs, in-country ministries of health, the U.S. Centers
for Disease Control, philanthropic foundations, and media
houses, provided free annual screenings and lifesaving
immunizations to over 1.1 million underserved people. Learn
best practices for building partnerships, tips for funding and
evaluating your project, and how you can participate in this
high-impact disease prevention program.
Building Rotary’s Image Through Service

Are you looking for ways to raise local awareness of Rotary?
A long-term service project can strengthen Rotary’s profile
while serving your community. The Rotary Club of Ratlam,
Madhya Pradesh, India, established a dialysis center at a
local hospital and partners with local philanthropists to
fund kidney treatment for people who can’t afford it. Learn
how projects like this center, which draws patients from a
100 km radius, can strengthen ties between your club and
community and provide much-needed service at reasonable
cost.

Dengue Prevention
(English)
Half the world’s population is at risk of contracting
mosquito-borne dengue virus, a leading cause of serious
illness and death among children in certain Asian and Latin
American countries. Since 2012, Rotary District 3860 has
spearheaded efforts to eradicate dengue in the Philippines
through the systematic, widespread, mosquito larviciding
campaign of the Dengue Free Movement (DFM), resulting in
an 80% drop in cases. Learn how you could help implement
this method to protect your own community.
Designing Your Rural Agriculture Project
Rural farmers are among the most vulnerable demographic
groups in the developing world. Agricultural interventions
such as training farmers and establishing cooperatives
are popular project types for economic and community

Water Facility

After hurricanes Frances and Jeanne struck within weeks of
each other in 2004, Rotary clubs in the Bahamas partnered
with local charities, government, and Rotary clubs in the
USA to build a reverse osmosis water treatment plant.
The facility operates in emergencies only, producing and

Le Rotary International prendra toute allégation au
sérieux. Les personnes estimant que leurs droits n’ont
pas été respectés sont fortement encouragées à signaler
l’incident au Convention Office. Toute violation du code de
conduite pourra entraîner la révocation de l’inscription d’un
participant, la confiscation du badge ou du laisser-passer de
tout individu, exposant, fournisseur ou société, de l’expulsion
définitive des bâtiments ou de l’enceinte KINTEX de tout
individu, exposant, entité ou société, sans remboursement
de l’inscription ou d’autres droits de participation, ainsi
que l’interdiction d’assister ou d’exposer aux prochaines
conventions du Rotary.
Une attention particulière doit être apportée pour garantir
la sécurité des jeunes participant à la convention ou aux
activités liées à la convention. Le Code de déontologie

Toute allégation d’abus ou de harcèlement sera signalée aux
autorités policières et traitée conformément à la politique du
Rotary en la matière.
Collecte de fonds
La Fondation Rotary du Rotary International est la seule
entité autorisée à collecter des fonds pendant la convention.
Musique
Conformément à la réglementation régissant les droits
d’auteur, le Rotary International ne peut pas vendre ou
distribuer la musique utilisée durant les séances plénières.
Photos ou enregistrements vidéo
Par leur participation à la convention du Rotary
International, les personnes inscrites et les exposants
consentent à être photographiés (photo ou enregistrement
vidéo) et à accorder pour toujours au Rotary International et
à sa Fondation le droit d’utiliser et de publier mondialement
et à toutes fins, leur nom, voix, déclarations et autres images
similaires. Elles dégagent également le Rotary International
et sa Fondation de toute responsabilité ou obligation de
compensation.
Il est interdit d’enregistrer, de photographier ou de filmer les
conférenciers et les spectacles durant les séances plénières.
Interdiction de fumer
Il est interdit de fumer dans l’enceinte de la convention.
INSCRIPTION
Badges électroniques
Un badge muni d’une puce électronique est remis à chaque
participant. Le port du badge est obligatoire dans l’enceinte
du KINTEX. Il est lu pour accéder aux séances plénières et
aux manifestations du Rotary.
Le Rotary International se conforme aux normes
internationales de protection des données afin de protéger la
confidentialité des informations. Ces badges ne contiennent
ni ne donnent accès à des informations personnelles
sensibles ou confidentielles.
Pour des raisons de sécurité, une pièce d’identité avec photo
sera exigée de tous les inscrits à la convention pour pouvoir

Le Rotary International se réserve le droit d’inspecter sacs
et bagages. Tout participant est en droit de refuser une
inspection, auquel cas le Rotary International peut lui refuser
l’accès au KINTEX.
Bornes de lecture des badges
Des bornes de lecture sont à votre disposition dans le
hall des inscriptions et dans la Maison de l’amitié. Vous
pouvez scanner votre badge pour consulter et imprimer vos
informations notamment vos réservations aux réunions préconvention et aux manifestations du Rotary.
Veuillez noter que les badges électroniques ne contiennent
que les manifestations du Rotary. Visitez le stand Host Event
situé dans le Hall 5 du KINTEX 1pour les manifestations du
comité hôte et les excursions.
Vente de billets sur place
Si vous n’avez pas réservé vos billets pour les manifestations
du de la convention, visitez l’espace des inscriptions (Hall 5,
KINTEX 1).
Manifestations du Rotary réservées aux personnes
munies de billets : en cas de billets restants, visitez le stand
en personne muni de votre badge pour programmation
électronique de l’achat. Aucun billet n’est imprimé. Des
billets pour les repas du Rotary peuvent se libérer en dernière
minute si les personnes inscrites ne se présentent pas. Ces
billets sont proposés environ une heure avant le début du
repas à l’espace des inscriptions (Hall 5, KINTEX 1). Aucun
billet n’est vendu à l’entrée des salles.
Échanges de billets pour les déjeuners du Rotary :
si le titulaire d’un billet pour un déjeuner du Rotary a un
empêchement, le Rotary permet l’échange de billets entre
participants au stand Badge Reprints (Hall 5, KINTEX 1).
La présence de toutes les personnes concernées, munies
de leur badge, est obligatoire au moment de l’échange et les
éventuelles transactions monétaires en découlant.
Manifestations du comité hôte : les billets restants pour les
manifestations listées ci-dessous sont vendus dans la limite
des disponibilités au stand Host Event Ticket Sales (Hall 5,
KINTEX 1).

SÉCURITÉ ET SANTÉ
Les voyageurs expérimentés savent que certaines
règles de sécurité s’imposent où que vous alliez :
¨ Ne pas porter son badge en ville afin de ne pas être
repéré comme une cible potentielle.
¨ Rester alerte et ne pas donner l’impression d’être
perdu.
¨ Éviter d’avoir tous ses documents au même endroit
(cartes de crédit, passeport, etc.). Ne prendre que le
nécessaire. Éviter de transporter de grosses sommes
en espèces.
¨ Porter son sac en bandoulière de façon à l’avoir devant
soi, du côté opposé à la rue, et garder une main dessus
pour limiter les vols à l’arraché. Ne pas placer votre
portefeuille dans la poche arrière de son pantalon.
¨ Faire preuve de vigilance aux abords des distributeurs
de billets ainsi que dans les trains, les bus et les gares.
¨ Laisser son sac souvenir dans votre chambre et utiliser
un autre sac pendant le séjour.

Un service de premiers secours est situé au bureau First Aid
Office au KINTEX 1 et au KINTEX 2. Si vous avez besoin
d’une assistance immediate, prévenir :

Le Rotary International et le comité hôte déclinent toute
responsabilité en ce qui concerne la santé des participants à
la convention durant leur séjour en Corée du Sud.
Il est fortement conseillé de souscrire une assurance voyage
couvrant les frais médicaux d’urgence, l’évacuation médicale
et le rapatriement en cas de maladie ou d’accident à l’étranger.
À moins d’avoir obtenu la confirmation par votre assurance
que vous êtes bien couvert pendant votre participation à la
convention de São Paulo, il est préférable de supposer que
vous ne l’êtes pas et de prendre les dispositions nécessaires
en cas d’urgence médicale.
VOLTIGEURS
Ils sont reconnaissables à leurs vestes vertes ou
écharpes rouges. Membres du Rotary expérimentés et
leurs conjoints, les voltigeurs sont répartis dans le centre
de convention pour répondre aux questions et offrir une
assistance générale aux participants.
Les membres du Rotary désirant se porter volontaires pour
servir en tant que voltigeurs sont invités à se renseigner au
bureau Sergeants-at-Arms (salle 212B, KINTEX 1).
SERVICES D’INTERPRÉTARIAT
La plupart des séances plénières et des autres
réunions sont en anglais. Consultez le programme détaillé
pour connaître les manifestations bénéficiant d’un service
d’interprétation simultanée et dans quelles langues.

indique qu’un service d’interprétariat est assuré.
L’interprétation simultanée en anglais, coréen, espagnol,
français, italien, japonais, mandarin et portugais est assurée
pendant les séances plénières. Les écouteurs sont payants
et le règlement doit ètre effectué uniquement en espèces
(dollars US ou wons).
Le matériel pour l’interprétation simultanée est disponible à
l’intérieur du Hall 5 au KINTEX 1 et à l’extérieur du Hall 2 au
KINTEX 1 aux horaires suivants :
