RISING SHIPPING COSTS
At L. H. Selman Ltd., we have always had a
commitment to keeping our customer’s shipping
costs as low as possible. Recent changes by major
shipping companies have necessitated that after
five years, we raise the flat-rate fee we charge our
customers, which only partially covers the actual
cost of shipping. In recent months, our shippers
have started charging extra for fuel, residential
deliveries, and the “Signature Required” option.
We feel it is extremely important that your shipments are not left on your doorstep. So, reluctantly,
we are increasing our domestic flat rate to $15. This
is still a much lower rate than most mail-order companies charge, and we will continue to share shipping costs as long as possible.
